Can you Please Upgrade The Damage buff? No One Bothers to even use toxic Anymore Because it does so little damage. To get to the point. Once you Confront hale with toxic You Risk, Slapping your Body Against the hale only to deal 20 DMG a Sec when you could Deal 300 From a Distance with one Mini-crit. The hale First off One hits you and you have to stay 2 inches Nearby the hale in order to start Dealing your "20 DMG Per Sec."




My Ideas are #1: Further the Distance In Toxic in order to deal Damage


#2: Up The Damage That Toxic Deals.

yes Toxic has been nerfed harder then it needs to be.


I rather it be back to it's former glory of 900 a second it did.

If not, maybe some middle ground. 600, 700.



20 damage is like tickling a lion in the face.

This would be perfect.

Right now, all puns intended, toxic is at a low ground. It's just a bunch of severed limbs at this point.
Now I understood they nerfed it off the high ground. It was all just over, toxic as a rtd, it had the high ground.
Then you have a middle ground, it's even between high and low; it's perfect!

Anyways, joking aside, toxic in its current state is completely awful and useless.

I should also point out. Toxic is now a Bad Roll, despite how it's meant to be a good roll.

Now because it has so little damage, the fact it most of the time block your screen in first person makes it very bad.

Its like pyro with rtd effect instant kills against sandvich hale. Pyro killed the hale earlier in two seconds. Now its really fair balanced. You must play as team and not hope rtd will rule it. When you are a good player, you know how to use the map, which class and equipment for it. So is my opinion to the rtd nerf.

Totally agreeing with what stated above, back in my day (when I was an egoistic little bish) I was scared of the idea seeing my two favourite rolls (instakills and toxic) getting nerfed really hard. But then I realised that those specific two were a total game break for ff2. People could just run around the hale and kill him in less than 5 seconds (and I’m not joking). As Ice said, you should reason as a team to beat the hale during the round, and not going solo also because the hale goes full nuts in seeing his health getting fastly lower and not immediately understand where’s the guy with the lethal roll (most of the times). If you want good results from a match, you gotta put effort and brain into it.

Sometimes you wasnt really better Zushi, but Patmo was the tryharder of rtd.

Well (I know this isn't the right place for this but its in the same context) but powerful hits is in the same book. if a demo knight gets it, he can do roughly 585 every hit with it. I haven't used it on attacks that aren't melee, but when I do get it, i can easily get 5,000 damage with about 9 hits
 
Maybe make toxic slow around you instead of doing damage? like a 5% or 10% slow? that could make it useful again

The boss can just go to you and kill you now with no repercussions of this "good" roll.

Well, yeah. I understood the instant kill removal, I used this a lot as well.
Now what I don't understand, is nerfing the hell out of toxic. As I stated, and Natsume as well, we need a middle ground of this.

And also, as Natsume said, toxic now actually ends up blinding you. What's even the point of toxic anymore? It really isn't a positive effect.
 
The thing with toxic is it was op. Broken as hell and now balanced. You can go with uber and toxic to the boss. The player must do the dmg not the rtd for you. Rtd is only a help to beat the hale, not the damage dealer.

Well, not even 20 dps is balanced to me. To be honest, we should just remove toxic all together. It's a shadow of its former self, and it's an awful roll nowadays.

Not to be aggressive, but from all the posts (in favor of buff/remove toxic) that I've seen from you and pichu, it feels like that you just want to keep shitty and best rolls all around.
If you didn't know, many people have been battling for so long to obtain an enough fair balance for the toxic roll. Why going back to such a nightmare?

I don't want old toxic back, I hated but loved it too. I'm just saying I want a toxic that isn't OP, but isn't so nerfed it's useless.

Well, yeah. I understood the instant kill removal, I used this a lot as well.
Now what I don't understand, is nerfing the hell out of toxic. As I stated, and Natsume as well, we need a middle ground of this.
As I said, seen above, I understand why they removed instant kills. I just haven't wrapped my head around why nerf toxic to nothing?
Like it IS supposed to be a rare, good roll. Now I know, RTD isn't made for FF2/VSH, but did we have to completely ruin a roll? We need something that isn't OP, but isn't terrible too.

Anyways, this "fair balance" doesn't seem fair to me, and other people.

Well they better keep battling because it sure to hell not fair at the moment. I do agree that the old toxic was horribly over powered, and Insta kills, HAHAHA never going to be balanced. But right now Toxic is such a bad roll, and do to the fact it blinds you most of the time. I'd rather roll EXPLODE, just because then I have good excuse why I'm not doing damage, and chasing the boss.

Whats it supposed to do now? Give the boss the advantage because you happened to roll it?

100-150 damage would make more sense if it's a Out of jail free card. Then the boss have to think about if it wise to try to get into melee range with you in fear of taking some sort of Reasonable damage. The 20 damage it does now is such a little incentive for any boss to stay away, you might as well make the roll Put a giant sign above your head saying. " Hey Look here this guy just won the shit lotto."

Idk why so many people here see someone say "could we make this thing actually useful?" and flip out thinking they want to make it OP as fuck. He literally suggested concrete numbers like 100-300 and people are making it out to be like he wants it back to pre-nerf.

Don't let your old traumas get in the way of reading a simple post. Please.

I agree with a buff, toxic rn is literally as threatening to the boss as fall damage.
