The Freekill Dem is the main one, there was way more mass freekill before then, but didnt have a chance to record it. (don't know if the others have any on them, didnt get time to check)

First time coming to NY Jailbreak, had high hopes until I met this, very disappointed this happens and with 1 admin, its going to happen always. I suggest that ALL admins have power there (or just full) to atleast help travis out with this when he can't get to it this needs to happen, or the server will just be freekilling only

I believe full admins do have power, though I could be wrong. I've seen a couple full admins dote out punishments for rules being broken.

The server will always have freekilling, as the vast majority of Panda's administrative team has 0 interest in administering a fairly complicated and messy gamemode.

There are a few solutions.

1. Increase the community's interest in JB, drawing other admins to help administrate the server. Or, simply decrease the negativity/hostility that they feel towards the NY JB server. As far as I can tell, for various reasons, this will never happen.
2. Improve on the clarity of the rules page so that any admin would be able to administrate the server in dire circumstances. This would mess with the call system (increasing calls from a probably already-annoying amount)(I'm not entirely sure on that, probably wrong, but hey.), and requires "too much effort." I've volunteered to help out here as best as I can. Negatory.
3. Allow for more leniency on the player's end to handle freekillers themselves (by teamkilling at round start). This turns the server into a deathmatch-esque feel, and should never happen, regardless of how painful it may be in the moment.
4. Implement an automated system revolving around the call system to automatically handle freekillers. If re-writing a rules page would be too much effort, even with volunteers to do the work, I can't see how we'd go ahead with this, though it'd be an interesting idea that'd likely be abused and removed before too long.
5. Provide better donator incentives so that more donations come in, allowing for votekicks (unless that's been changed). Would likely never happen, simply unlikely that anyone on the server would donate without a massive drive to do so.
6. Increase the number of administrators on the server. Touchy topic I can't touch on without the fear of having my application denied.

Apologies for the long, pessimistic post. Kinda synonymous with how I feel in relation to the server, unfortunately.

Full admins do have powers on all servers, the issue is most of them are scared of jb and usa ny peak times are late at night/very early morning for the European admins.


As for @Ketteii 's huge comment, what I will say the rules need updating and those so called 'enforcers' on the server need to apply for admin.
Since I started coming back, I do not understand why the server has these people telling people not what to do and then threatening to report them if they don't stop, it just gets them angry and makes these players break rules more. When I ask why don't they apply for admin, they either 'are too busy' (even though they at least spend an hour each day on the server) or, and this is the kicker, 'I don't see the need too'.

Editing the rules is easy, it's getting to change anything development wise in the community which is hard.

well that is why I said all admins (including trials). reason being is that gero was on then, but he told me he couldn't help out and told me to call admin (even though travis was offline and kevin was doing kevin things) that is the reason why I want all the admins to have power to help out, so we can make it so NY Jailbreak isn't as scary anymore

Although I understand the frustration, giving trial admins full powers on all servers defeats the purpose of trial.
