Making sure the textures on the map are perfectly fitting the drawn materials' size would be a good aesthetic change, currently many textures are not fitted with the surfaces they are placed on. Break up the map so it is not so open. You can make all textures of a type uniform with a 256x256 reference panel, then you can select the texture face and alt right click where you would like to apply the uniform texture. Another suggestion is to allow more directions to the map. currently it is facing one direction, maybe start working behind cells, working outward from cells allows for the map to be more fair to rebellers giving them more directions to run rather than being choked into a choke point or only able to run in 1 direction.
