Declined [JB] So about these LR chains (1 Viewer)

I think it's fairly certain that we as a community aren't really fans of a vote procedure but I think we got some solid ideas on how to combat this sort of behavior.

Scootys mention about ensuring that the rules are simple is the exact reminder that we needed. With classics permission, I think we should reformat the poll to some of the ideas suggested and see where as a community we stand.

Personally I think the easy solution to this problem is to simply not allow custom lrs to be the same two rounds in a row and call it a day. Incredibly easy to remember and doesn't punish players who want to do interesting custom lrs by restricting the amount per map.
I like it in concept but people will just go from "hg no teaming be back in main cell by 6:00" then just change to "hg no teaming be back in main cell by 6:30" or something stupid like that circumventing the rule entirely. Which does pose a concern still as it would just fail to solve the problem.

Then don't allow people to do that and be more concrete in the rules.

Something like "custom lrs cannot be the same the following round. Examples being hg, hns, obby all day ECT."

"This rule can not be circumvented by changing the parameters of the LR slightly. If the round previously was a custom lr hunger games, it cannot be played again the following round"

By all means, decline this suggestion and update it with this instead.

I will do so when I get home, thanks calassic.

Bugs please refrain from toxicity on the forums.

Anyways, it's a bit of a decisive thing. Like sure, you can always cause a fail round or just win lr to end a chain. But there are select cases where that's virtually impossible. Where certain bad actors have the sole goal of killing the servers vibe just by making an LR that's impossible for everyone except themselves are able to win. Sometimes being able to step in and just put an end to it is the best course of action.
It's not impossible its usually 2 or 3 REDS constantly winning LR and if it really is annoying and people don't like the LR chains. Then just team up on them and kill them? Like I said, its usually only 2 or 3 REDS winning the LR. So if it really is "killing the vibe of the server" then just all get together and kill the individuals winning the LR. 3 REDS are not going to kill the entire team if you just all go and team up and kill the individuals winning the LR.

But you see, the problem there is that if blues do that, its favortism. And its very possible for the people doing the hg chain to team up and, oh I dunno, pocket a Skullcutter Demo? Its not that hard to keep a chain going, but its rather more difficult to stop it, and really, REALLY annoying for the people who actually want to play jail break. Even if its not a hg chain, but something like a cargo "spinner chain", you cant really "team up" on the people continuing the chain.
