Within our current rules there's almost nothing related to forcing. The closest things are the rule about re-wardening and the "you have a maximum of 2 forces" message that appears when you've reached your limit.

My reasons for making this suggestion is that the server has been seeing a lot more blues forcing, and whilst there's definitely things to be done on the plugin side(fixing the force limit for example), this is my attempt to propose a rules oriented solution to certain problems forcing, as it is, presents.

My suggested rule, and what this poll is mainly about since it's an old gripe of mine, is: Warden should not force with the intent of denying LR.

Future ideas that mostly fall outside of the scope of this poll but could be discussed now or later: Certain Minigames/FF rounds being disallowed if warden forces.

Other simple rules additions that are potentially unnecessary: Add the !w command somewhere in the rules for guards/wardens. Add a line of text that informs new players that the limit for forces is 2 per map.
If "Yes" receives a majority, then maybe an admin could change the poll to a vote on any of the above rules, or any popular ideas brought up in the discussion.

: Warden should not force with the intent of denying LR.
How can we enforce this? Do we read minds? Whats stopping people from lying about their intentions? where in the rules do we talk about and define "intention"? How does this affect the "you dont have to reattempt" rule? Are you suggesting that if you force you have to reattempt lr? But if you get picked normally its free game? But thats an annoying exception to think about.

Can of worms thats annoying to deal with, sorry if this sounds harsh but this suggestion feels like it was born out of frustration rather than being a legitimately constructed solution.

Don't really understand this suggestion. It's actually stated in the rules warden doesn't have to reattempt any LR, and there aren't any listed exceptions for that.

If a warden wants to force, as annoying as it can sometimes be, just let them. If they do it to rulebreak, they will be punished for it.

I'm constantly being told "intent matters" when talking about certain rulings. This felt like the least problematic wording with that in mind. If you wanna discuss "defining intention" please do that separately, it is a constant among many rules and is usually decided by admins within reports. There are things that can obviously point towards intention with this ruling in mind. Like switching teams to deny LR, reading the LR and stating it's deniable after LR is given, and then forcing and denying it the following round, things that can be observed in game and in reports. If blues would like to deny an LR then they simply have to wait 5 seconds to be randomly selected as warden.

Nothing I said has anything to do with reattempting LR. Warden never has to reattempt LR.
If a red makes a fun LR like "pirate day warden must speak like a pirate" I don't think a randomly selected warden has to do that, but I and many others are willing to force and do the LR. I'm saying in the situation that another blue intentionally forces and denies an LR that another blue would willingly do than the blue is denying fun and should face consequences at the very least a warning as it should be discouraged.

Completely agree with banana here, i have no clue where to even begin enforcing this.

no from me.
