Hello, as many of you jb players know jb_hopjb has a minigame called prop hunt which can be played with 16 or less reds and can be done without LR, which is why this suggestion is to change that.

Now i will say some of the reasons why this should be LR only and not played unless warden wants to.

1. Its sort of a bypass to hide and seek, considering that hopjb is an iconic jb map, people could easily recognize prop placements around the map, unlike prop hunt on jb_miami where its actually a good map to hide yourself as a prop. Hopjb doesnt have many props around to blend in around.

2. The reds could easily +use to stop prophunt. which is considering exploiting. And could either have the warden to brush it off and blame it on a blue, or actually do something else.

3. Unless the warden wont stop prop hunt at all, it would just lead to time being wasted for the dead people waiting to play, which could happen EVERY round if the warden decides to do the same minigame prop hunt over and over again.

4. Reds simply have no power over blues when the minigame starts, discouraging people to rebel and be forced to hide until the warden stops the minigame. And really annoying janky movement.

Theese are my reasons why prop hunt on hopjb should be put LR only.

This looks like it stands out jb_miami out of the way, thats beacuse the prop hunt on miami is actually good, and doesnt require all the reds to be in the minigame for it to be started, and also easier to blend and no janky movement. Its also just more fun and i dont mind it.
 
Do people genuinely find HnS -esque minigames fun? Unless Blue Team is cracked, it often leads to just delay or a failround depending if the blues even know they can turn off the minigame.

This is a completely valid argument but I disagree with the second part, miami prophunt should be held to the same standard as hopjb if this were to go through, not only is it simpler for understanding if all prophunts are lr only but just because miami is less popular than hop doesn't change the fact that I can still memorize most prop placements. I can also edit the prop selection on hopjb and get rid of the useless ones if desired (though I'm not touching prop 16 my beloved).

This should be/can be fixed, it is also irrelevant to the argument if the minigame is lr only if the minigame is broken it should be completely banned, fixed, or ignored, LR only games really only make sense when the minigame bends the rules (eg. favoritism).

Yeah that's how arena mode works? I guess the action is pretty snooze inducing but so are many other jailbreak minigames.

That applies to about 80% of all minigames in jailbreak, you don't really have many more rebel options in mlcastle 9square, oranger die or don't die, stormfront sweeper, supermario speedrun, 8bit bumblebeam, minecraft crush game, snowday fall game, opst furry finder, space jail karts, jailfort box game, etc. I've also never really had an issue with the movement on hop prop hunt, maybe it's a ping issue?

Only real thing about this prophunt that bothers me, is that sometimes Contrackers or Shields are visible over the prop which is a dead giveaway.

If you or someone else does get around to updating it, maybe make it once per round + a time limit like the climb on hopjb. That way it doesn't go on too long and waste time for dead players. Then it's also distinguished from Hide and Seek because it would be unlikely to go to 1 red remaining. There would be more of a run away and chase dynamic similar to prop hunt in other games.
