By this rule, theoretically, if all the Reds manage to do a secret to leave cells early during an LR Warday or last day Warday, whist the BLUs haven't made it to the designated spot and all the REDs manage to rebel, the BLUs cannot do anything towards this. By this rule no BLU is allowed to kill any rebellers until they have made it to the designated spot. Imagine this, all REDs are scouts, they leave the cells early as the guards are making to the location. All of the scouts decide to go for the guards and rebel. No BLU is technically allowed to kill any of the scouts. I believe this should be adjusted to let BLUs kill REDs that try to chase them down, instead of allowing REDs to freely damage, kill or hit BLUs with no repercussions if they chase BLUs and can get away with it.

On board with this 100% as it will give the BLUs a chance to defend themselves should the REDs catch up to them and attempt to kill them before they reach the designated warday location, either if the warden opens the cells early for whatever reason or REDs escape through a breakable.

I think it makes more sense to allow reds to be killed if they damage guards, not if they are just chasing guards. I agree that reds should not be able to get away with doing damage when blus cannot defend themselves, but I don't see any reason why every red scout headed in the direction of the warday spot should be KOS just because a blue heavy hasn't gotten there yet.

Re-worded the poll.

I think a better compromise would to allow us to kill any red that is damaging the blue, since this will just lead to blues chasing any and all reds that leave cells early.

I re-worded the poll for that reason.

Altough it can help BLU's fight against reds attempting to hit them. It would be the BLU's fault for either:

-blues opening cells with no permission

-warden opening cells before all blues reach the warday location

-Blues taking too long to reach their location before the map timer or a red using a breakable to open cells

-A blue that reacts to the LR too late, which would mean that he can walk alone towards the location while easy wiping any red that attempts to chase them.

Imo, i am against this, since any freeday round would have blues unable to defend eachother against any red that chases them except warday

For a bit of context, this is the clip that started this suggestion.

I broke out of armory, and hit a blu with my ball. No blu did anything wrong here in terms of being too slow or opening cells too early, it's just the fact that the map has an easy way to break out. Really the way that the current rules stand the blus shouldn't have been able to kill me and I would have been free to wrap assassian them to death. I think it makes sense that this shouldn't be able to happen. Although this is probably a fairly rare scenario, it's more common then you might think. I've had this happen to me on the oranger secret, though I don't have that clip.

I dont see this as a problem really, since this almost never happens.
Im worried about this because blus could abuse this and delay when walking towards the warday area just to kill bunch of reds when they attack him.
Also I am worried that this would lead to alot of Chaos, most people arent on the forums or read the rules but know the warday specific rules since the introduction of ldwd.
So their mindset (kill out of area = freekill = !call or any other thing they might say)

Dont get me wrong, the suggestion isnt stupid, but this is never an Issue in my opinion.

While I agree it rarely happens, I do think there’s no harm in fool proofing something like this, even if I disagree with the us of the “imagine the worst case scenario” from the original suggestion.

I'm gonna personally say that I honestly REALLY don't like the philosophy that "if it doesn't happen often/barely happens, it's not a problem"; just because it doesn't happen often doesn't mean the problem exists at all and we should ignore it.

Dont get me wrong, the suggestion is great.
And I wouldnt mind it being added.
But I just think of what the negatives are that may come with it.

Is it ok if we just allow people to kill reds under the "Leaving cells before cell doors open" but extend to warday

Adding the rule on Friday, you have any objections to the message above say something

"However, Guards may shoot or kill any Prisoners who have left cells before cell doors have been opened and are on their path to the designated location."

Have been added to the rules
