yeah they literally just launch you from a to b, that's how they function in game too

I know that's how they function in the game too, I told you I'm a super mario galaxy connoisseur, just seems like it would be way too easy to rebel if reds could just come and go with those launch stars

I also looked through the files of Super Mario Galaxy 1 but this higher pitched one of SMG2 is the only one I could find, but I'm sure it will suffice ^^

I've been looking for a while but this is the best I could find

also the reason that its higher pitched is bc it automatically adjusts to the current pitch of the music that's currently playing since its all midi instruments iirc.
that's why it always sounds so satisfying. just look at other videos of launch stars being used, the pitch is never the exact same! really interesting i know
