So I'll admit most of my suggestion just come to me only mere hours before I post it, but this one is actually one I've been debating doing for months now. I've been debating whether it was even going to be worth it to do a suggestion for this map; I know this will probably attract a lot of defenders, but please hear me out and consider the reasons why I personally think Jailfort deserves to be considered for removal.
- Visually unappealing: This map really just isn't that appealing to look at. It's just a very gray, dull-looking map.
- No standout minigames: The minigames on this map are all basic, none of them standout in any way. None of them really having anything to give them a unique edge. To me, this is a similar problem to Complex. The most standout minigame on this map is probably Karts, but even then better versions exist on better maps like Mlcastle and Colors, alongside better racing minigames with a more unique playstyle like on District and Miami.
- About rebelling: To my knowledge there are no major ammo secrets on this map besides the one in the secret entrance to Armory near Steady Pace. The round-ending secret is also a 50/50 chance for REDs to actually succeed as the boat you take to escape has a chance of exploding, which feels cheap for all that effort. All the other round-ending secrets to my knowledge guarantee REDs victory if they pull it off correctly.
- Bugs: This map has a few bugs and problems that, thanks to the next reason listed below this one, are probably never gonna see a fix. Karts has quite a few that particularly pertain to the bridge and it's ability to be lifted up, be it getting stuck in it, being dropped down into the race course which automatically puts you into kart mode, and the fact that it can hurt you too, leading to multiple cases of bridge abuse. Steady Pace has a bug where you can get ahead of the motivator, and there's also one where REDs standing outside right up to the door when it's closed can be killed by the spawning motivator if the game is started. The yellow doors you have to hit the buttons to open are also really annoying to deal with given how small the buttons, the fact they close and open so quickly, and that they can damage you. The Hunger Games control panel room near Dodgeball is also highly campable as you can block the door from opening by just standing in front of it. I believe there are probably more bugs that I am not aware of or forget as well.
- This map has not been updated since 2015 or 2016: The fact that this map hasn't received an update or overhaul or anything in almost a decade makes it feel outdated compared to so many other maps in our pool.
TLDR - Jailfort just feels like a relic of the past to me and I feel it's time to put it to rest, but I'm sure there will be a sizeable amount of defenders for this map, so I'm taking a chance to see if this map is worthy of leaving or staying.
