Declined [JB] Ban Ping-Based Disco (Or make it LR only?) (2 Viewers)

Disco is first reaction last reaction.
Last time this was suggested I votes against it because it leaves the disco rooms on many maps redundant. Although now I think that's just stupid. First reaction last reaction is banned, so ban disco.

I'm EU and I actually enjoy disco, when I used to play alot at eu hours sometimes people would do disco and it would be fine.
I'd place like top 3 usually but even if i died i didn't mind it cause it still felt like there was a bit of skill to it.

I get its supposed to be skill based but like it kinda feels rng ong when its eu ping.
I personally don't mind the bad ping as it still feels like I've got a bit of control versus a game like 9 crush or death create where your straight up better of afking then coming back to see if your alive or dead.

I think games like dinner are far worse then disco as the bias is so blatent when theres a large amount of regulars on.

I think banning disco is silly because its completley unneeded.

If you want to be useful suggest to map creators to incorporate more designs from maps like carcerm or the foggy forest one to make it less first reaction last reaction and more skill based.
(As in suggest them to add the carcerm disco version).

I understand it's to make who aren't NA enjoy the gamemode a little but in all fairness, it is a [US] Server. (I'm saying this as an EU player).

It's so dead seeing suggestions like this which nuke content from the gamemode.
I think 1st you should think of an improvement/rework to fix the problem.
2nd if you your self cant think of one then ask the community rather then jumping straight to a poll.
Then if you can't think of any of the above suggest to remove,

Not just jump the gun and say "ban disco".
I say this becuase its dead seeing same poll less then 12 months later.

A good trait and I am in the same boat as you. However a lot sadly don't feel the way you and I feel about it.

I know I have my ping limitations so I know that if I get killed though I was one of the first to stop, I know it's my latency which screws me over.
Most will make a drama out of it, even the EU blue's who will tell off the NA blue's.
It will always be a drama train and that's why I love the intergration of the disco minigame mechanic in maps like mentioned above.

I'm against banning it completely, but I love the proposal to make the first reaction/last reaction aspect of disco LR only.
This is to prepare the reds that this will be happening (especially to those with the latency issues) and to make fine usage of the disco in other maps like Casuarina and Jailfort.
+ it gives a Simon says/BK Massacre vibe IMO, only having it proposed as a LR only suggestion.
If the suggestion proposes to have the map mechanic being made LR only too, then I'm switching to leaving it the way it is.

This is all I see when playing disco, and it's fucked because you can only watch so many people at once, half the time missing the actual guy who stopped first. Also is this not just the last reaction aspect of first reaction last reaction

I would say the main problem with disco right now is that a huge part of the active playerbase on USJB1 is not even American but choose to join the american server. I don't like disco and I think it's an outdated minigame, but it really is not as bad as people are making it seem, the main issues stem from people connecting overseas. We need someone to fix EUJB and to start getting people to play on there aswell, otherwise i don't see the point in talking about ping differences.

Like I said, not a fan of disco and I wish more map makers made them into real minigames such as carcarem or hopjb, because those are actually fun!!

I mean its literally just first reaction last reaction but its allowed for some reason. I dont see why not to ban it, but if we keep it I wont be disappointed.

I'm all for taking suggestions on what to replace it with, but it's a small room that plays music. Random players will still use the room for thar reason. Its size doesn't easily lend itself to a replacement. I'm personally fine with it being a "useless" room, though.
