Declined [JB] Allow Cell Wars as an LR (1 Viewer)

As it currently stand the rule is as follows:
"Cell Wars cannot be played as an LR."
Which I think is a little weird as I cannot think of a good reason as to why cell wars wouldn't be allowed as a LR. Which is why I propose we change the rule for cell wars to be allowed as an LR even with 3+ blus.
 
I guess so! Given it still follows the 3 or less blus rules.

I don’t like cell wars, even if it’s a weird omission in the rules, I don’t want people doing it, jailbreak is fun for me when I have stuff to do, not when the round is decided in the confines of the coloured lines.

You know some insane individual out there who absolutely adores cell wars beyond comprehension would try to chain it if it became allowed as an LR.

As Racer said is one my points exactly:
Having cell wars as lr means that there will be multiple reds left, making the round take significantly longer while the majority of reds are stuck waiting for the round to end.

And aside from that, it just plain sucks for the "lower melee classes"
In meatgrinder you can do the funny "escape plan bomb" as soldier among other things and, as racer said as well, will result in 1 red alone (or if the escape plan taunt works, no reds at all!).

There is a "fun" factor difference between meatgrinder and cell wars, even if consistent or inconsistent.
 
Honestly there’s no need for it to be banned

But….
Even as someone who’s always been super supportive of changes that allow more freedom, I still feel that there is no need for it to be unbanned. It’s just a rather unfun game if you don’t win that also ends up with you having to wait for the game to finish while also not even being able to really play the actual game. I’d much rather just have it be a rare occurrence with disaster 2 piece teams instead of it running the risk of being an LR
 
I feel like a lot of you assume people will actually do cell wars as an LR once the rule has been changed. In the time I've played not once has anyone ever asked for cell wars as LR and that is with 90% of people not actually reading the rules. I'd imagine a small uptick for a little bit once its allowed but after a week or so it will go back to being never requested.

Most people usually die in the first minigame either way, having it be cell wars doesn't make too big a difference if you ask me.

Sure cell wars isn't fun at all but there are lots of other potential LRs which are allowed that are way more annoying and unfun.

i cant seem to understand why you want it? if you don't think it is fun then why suggest this?
playing cell wars and having majority of the reds die at the start of the game and requiring majority of the server to wait the whole round is not going to be fun, for anyone. it will slow the game down for no reason.

Because I think its a bad rule, sure I don't like it but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed.

You can not like cell wars, heck, I dont like cell wars most of the time, but this rule is just stupid and I could imagine some really funny cell wars lrs. Im voting yes because freedom and GOD BLESS MURICA.

I feel this too. Honestly there is no reason it should be banned. I'm not a huge fan of cell wars, but it was always an odd restriction imo.
Having it banned because I (and many others) do not like it, seems incredibly unlike Panda's norms.
Goes back to my Nine Crush suggestion, which people were HEAVILY in opposition to. Although generally agreed to be unfun, we kept it because we don't ban things unless they are directly problematic.
In my opinion Cell Wars being a valid lr, is not drastically problematic.
Racer does however bring up a fair point about it though, which in that case I feel Cell Wars an LR could be "completed" (FF goes back off) after cells open, or by a time given by the Warden as to prevent delay.
