Tho not to sidetrack the main post, RTD hg wouldnt work mainly due to how majority of rtd effects dont work with friendly fire

I think that just cracking down on the two minutes for DR starting to actively getting enforced by Admins and Guards is more than enough. If people still complain about it being too long we can just reduce the DR time to one minute, maybe? Before someone brings out Unfair Trivia, that shit should not take you 5 minutes. It's literally called unfair, you kill for any reasons you want. If you want to be pedantic just state that BLUs can kill eachother with FF on or wtv.

Another thing is that Wardens should take the habit of mentioning when the DR's over. Or include the LR choice in the DR if the RED's taking too long. Regulars who actively play Guard should start enforcing it by themselves if need be. I know that I've had to ask the RED what their DR is because the Warden didn't or wouldn't do it themselves.

Personally for me I'll just start actively enforcing it during my time on the server, didn't realize that it was starting to be such an issue. Sorry if I've done it myself. q3q

Otherwise what Banana said before would be fine enough.
"The LR recipient has 2 minutes to finish a valid Death Request after they have received LR".
Or something along those lines.
2 minute DRs aren't a huge issue, it's mostly when somebody will sit there choosing an LR for two minutes and then go delay some more with the excuse of "I have two minutes for my DR and haven't even picked one yet". Making it a concrete limit would be nice, as even when I am deliberating an LR, I at most take a minute. Death Requests are supposed to be a round END, not a round ellipses.

-I haven't spent the time to read all of the replies on this —and maybe it would make this reply meaningless if I did— but 30 seconds sounds a bit too fast and would stress out the winner if they hadn't thought of it after getting LR.

-Reducing the original 2 minutes to 1 minute would probably be a more comfortable time frame to work with.

-I'm not sure about a plug-in changing the round timer because I feel like it would make Panda JB more like other servers and less like Panda JB where you can kind of just do whatever within reason.

-A message in chat, after LR is given that a DR is to be ended within a specific amount of time, could help because that rule is often forgotten among players who haven't been around for very long or are returning. A DR lasting like 3 minutes because no one on blue knows there's a limit could be more common as the player base is replaced with new people.


Or I'm insane. I just choose to explode when I'm done with LR.

Picking LR doesnt take longer than 30 seconds, leaving them still with 1,5 minutes.
