Poll closes on Thursday this week although the vote is in favour of the 2nd option.

This just means in the rules it should change to be specfic on the rules thread. A good question now is should this be listed in the agreeable rules when you join the server or not?

I think not. It's not a major rule infringement and some players will still say "No detours and delays for the rest of the round" due to a force of habit.

I think that spreading the word to players just to make them aware will be better overall.
