When things change to you, it's not usually the things that have truly change. You are the one who has changed. Whether JB was better in the past or now does not matter, because:
1. You have gotten older. You used to be 14, 15, 16, playing with other 14, 15, 16 year olds. Now you're 20, 21, 22. A lot of your old comrades left to bigger and better things. Now 14, 15, 16 year olds have taken their place on the server you enjoy. What you see as 'JB has gone downhill' is merely 'You got older and the people around you stayed the same age."
2. It is your responsibility to make your contributions to JB as positive as possible, or to leave if you believe that you have exhausted what you can contribute (or don't want to anymore). There is no shame in either decision, but dedicate to it.
In the same way, when times seem to have changed and behavior that you once held dear is no longer permissible, it is not in your right to complain about what you once held dear being 'under attack'. Were you left behind? Sure. But it is your obligation, as a contributor to society, to keep up with the changes and to adapt. Perhaps the rules, the impressions and precedent by previous administrators and mods have revoked certain old strategies. But it does not mean you should carry them with you as a crutch, but rather adapt them to the modern times.
In other words, please shut up about how JB has gone downhill, and maybe re-evalutate whether you find it fun still to play with teenagers as a grown-ass adult.
