Declined [FF2] Spy backstab nerf (1 Viewer)

Proposal:
Nerf backstab damage from 1.5k to 1k

Pros:
+ More in line with goomba stomp and market garden damage (both deal ~900 dmg);
+ Less hales rage quitting due to lag flipping high latency spies that perform horrendous facestabs;
+ Less incentive to try and backstab = less pressure from spies;
+ Benefits the mankind and the playerbase of the Freak Fortress 2 Subcommunity
+ Coping and seething from spy mains

Cons:
- Nothing lmao
 
You cannot compare Spy to soldier or other classes, i say this as a soldier main myself.
Soldier can risk for a mg for he can also rocket jump away from danger in case he made a wrong call,
I do agree that spy dmg should be nerfed but i dont think 1000 is a good idea, id say 1200 dmg is great because again they risk more and
some meta bosses atm like Rock and Boomerz do deal a lot of dmg that can kill a spy even with dead ring on.
 
I would like to have an option to have it nerfed slightly less than recommended here. Say to 1200 damage per stab

I do not see the purpose of a nerf without a buff to spies other things. Such as giving him an additional play style/something more interesting.
(Examples of this is removing the damage drop off from his Ambassador or a jump function with his Diamondback)
Hence, I'll be voting against this.
 
I dont see any problems with spy's 1.5k dmg, they are easy to kill, and if you get trickstabbed thats a skill issue. But for a nerf id prefer the 1.2-1.3k dmg mark
 
An extra idea is to give spy an additional play style, which is with mention to making the diamondback a singular clipped rocket jumping weapon for spies to jump around with (not too strong where they go absolutely flying), if the 1k damage nerf goes through then having something additionally wouldn't hurt.
 
Didn't the damage get nerfed once before? How come there should be another nerf? At this point this isn't a suggestion. I rather think this is a pure act of hate because someone got his feelings hurt.
Nerfing the damage won't make people play less spy just for your information.
 
Yall should just admit that people playing spy on ff2 are just good maybe ? Instead of always crying on the forums and tryna nerf it just watch your back lol

Macko , why do you want to have a change? Do you really think everybody is on the same page as you? If you really want something like this to pass then maybe think about a little professionalism and don't state 'coping and seething from spy mains' as a pro. This isn't a suggestion. If you really cared for a change then you would reduce the damage by 200-300 damage and add a balance like diamondback jumping. You even marked my response as 'dumb' because you clearly made that suggestion out of pure hatred without any real interest in a change and took the first opportunity to shoot back. If you want a slight decrease in damage then go for it but add something else in return. Even then somebody would still complain about the performance of spy players after the nerf. This would be a never ending story at this point.
You shouldn't have the right to suggest changes if you're acting straight out of 'maldness'
I dearly hope that the community sees this as irresponsable and votes against it.
