Since some people seem to disagree with the idea of such weapon change and @Kruphixx has
a biased opinion and does NOT want to deem it accepted even though its 6y/4n vote on discord,
the suggestion has been brought to forums.

=Copy paste from discord=

+80% damage reduction from melee sources while deployed
+70% attack speed [0.5s -> 0.15s if that is how the attribute works]
+6 health regen
+4 health on hit
-76% damage penalty [105 crit -> 25 crit]
-100% max primary ammo
-100% less healing from Medic sources
-90% health from packs
-7% slower move speed [400HU/s vanilla -> 372HU/s vanilla]
+Gib on kill [Attribute 309]

Why all of this? Interesting weapon, fun little concept that would not cause outrage (99% sure).
Why this weapon? Why not.
Why Gib on kill? Because "Getting hit Getting killed by a fish has got to be humiliating"!

Not a biased opinion at all. I simply think those changes are a bit too much to just go through discord without a proper forum poll first. It's safer this way, I'm not making the same mistake I did with flamethrowers.

I don't really say much about these suggestions on the forums

This suggestion is a complete joke, and one of many Macko's attempts to implement something that is against what people really look for on this server (the ones that do not want to be using forums constantly, which is majority), anyway.

With an 80% melee resistance you would be taking about 40 damage per hit from hale, as the average damage a hale deals on this server is 202.

this suggestion would not remove secondary weapons, most notably madmilk

you gain 4 health on hit (you can swing 6.666... times a second) and on top of it you heal 6 health per second, lets say you were in a situation where you are up against the hale all alone. You take 40 damage but by the time the hale is able to hit you again you have healed 32hp??
(you can still easily dodge as you have double jump)

TLDR: The weapon only stalls, annoys players with the slapping fish sound and indirectly buffs goomba scouts.
 
I'm not against it. It could introduce an actual playstyle for scout other than Force A Nature or Soda Popper with Sandman.

But the stats could get fine-tuned not to be extremely polarizing & annoying to fight as a melee boss compared to a boss that gets a ranged weapon.
