due to tf2's spaghetti code, rocket/sticky jumping away next to a boss will most likely result in as a death or getting damaged so much that you die from fall damage (even with gunboats or bootlegers)
which is why i believe there should be health on a garden hit, maximum 20, preferably 15. too much will be too broken and too little will not even be noticeable.
 
Not really a problem, mostly depends on map. Just having medic or engineer on the team is more than enough healing
 
if it was were something like 50 hp on hit and -35% / -40% slower firing speed then maybe that would be more so right but honestly 15 - 20 hp is literally nothing and you'd be better off just playing mg demo when a heavy med kit map is on.
 
I fail to see the purpose of giving a 15 to 20 health per. market garden to any of the two classes.
Medics, Engis, Medkits. There's three choices for a Soldier or a Demoman. Besides the fact that both have items to mitigate explosive dmg.

I've said this before, and I'll state it here again...
Demoman and Soldier are from what I've seen in a pretty alright place. I feel like updating them exclusively whiles there's more important classes to update is a bit of a waste of time. But that's just me.
