Feedback about JB Volcaneo (1 Viewer)

collecting some feedback about the Jailbreak map called Volcaneo has i hear often that people don't like the map for a range of issue so i'm curious how many do like this map and why they do?

Maybe the map could also be voted to be removed at some point i Don't know

Map is only seen as bad/boring since wardens are lazy and always gravitate to the closest few minigames. Thus climb gets played way too much. This is partially fault of the map for having so little minigames near cells. But even still wardens shouldn't be so lazy as to only play the close minigames. Spice it up a little bit as it's impossible to have every minigame close to cells without the map being cramped.

As Krook said its not that the map is bad but more that the wardens on the map usually do the most boring minigames, the map is actually quite fun.

It's a good map when you don't have terrible blus who jump off the volcano causing yet another failround

honestly very bad map, can ruin HNS & HG

in hns as lr it says "seek at 8" then we dont have time to seek cuz the secret can be activated and same for HG. When warden says "be back at 7 or 6" the secret is activated and ruined
remove this map

also too confusing where are the minigames

the map is too big, There will always be a rebeller doing the secret and causing another failround.
thats why wardens rather do the close games

I mostly love this map because of the secret. It's the most challenging as you need to navigate through various positions off the map to activate the secret.
If anything else, it is still fun, but dare I say that the "contour" is not always pleasing + krook are my thoughts exactly.

Funny volcano secret go boom and shake, also this is to my knowledge one of the most suggested maps to be removed but they've all been declined.

Personally I think it would better if there was some sort of elevator or teleporter to make transportation to the top floor faster.

if you see anyone doing it, then they are KOS . also i'm pretty sure about 2 months ago krookodile chose the tower as safezone in hg preventing the round ending secret
for HNS i think you can go to the tower to wait there, takes around 30-ish seconds longer for cell doors to open in hns but i think its worth it
although i might be incorrect, take it with a grain of salt

but yeah. big map, no sense of direction (as in, signs saying "these minigames are this way" as many maps do)

i feel like it could be improved massively with some little changes. the secret is fun tho yeah, i always see at least one person attempting it everytime i play on it.

a hallway map is a map that has tight hallways, and basically no(t much) open space.

i dont really like it when people activate the secret while its hg, i want to play hg not do a more boring secret that just ends the round and nothing else
also its too dark for my liking

Full honesty I have barely played climb on that map in ages.



But volcano has fine mini games. The map layout is good, but the volcano is far too big and has nothing going on. I don’t like the map in the current state it’s in, but with some fixes it could be a real good one.

Oh boy I have a lot of things to say about this one.
I do NOT like this map, I physically groan everytime I see it, and I try desperately to rtv it.
It feels like people only vote the map because the secret... which is because they only vote the map because of the secret.

1: The map is too large, its a burden trying to find any minigames as a blue. I've had more times where I can count where warden leads us somewhere, they die, and I dont know where I am.

2: This map is so broken, prisoners being able to +use open doors through walls while in minigames is just so dumb, it causes so many issues, since the doors damage you.

3: The other thing about volcano is just how large yet cramped it is. It is not friendly to new blues at all. The yellow line is just WAY too close to the pit, which leaves no room for blues who dont know better.

4: This isnt the entirety of the maps fault, but wardens will usually result to making reds do climb, or a minigame right next to cells. But can you blame them? Climb is by far the safest minigame a warden could do, it feels like everytime a warden trys to do another minigame, then end up dying before the minigame even starts. This is related to issue number 3.

5: Finally, the worst part is people keep voting it, even though it feels like most everyone dislikes the map. Why? Because it has a round ending secret, which is eh. Its fine I guess. But the fact that people will vote this map over other, more fun maps just because this one has a secret that is only good for one round is stupid. You can even see how as soon as the secret has been completed, everyone rtvs.

I genuinely want this map out of rotation.

this map is like junk food it probably isn’t the best but it’s just so good
