How many X amount of MINUTES after warden is slain

I think the best alternative would be freeday until X time ends and slay all reds after that
Much as I like this... if theres people with freeday from LR it wont get removed unless its LGKA or they rebel... unless something was implemented that they'd lose freeday status when warden locks.

So is this about After how many minutes After warden dies guards hunt or at a certain map timer

So ignore the tick as that was Ian's vote when he voted on this suggestion. It's from warden death, not round timer.

I think when the warden dies the freeday protection should be remove from all freeday since its pretty op for spy since they wont be damaged unless they poke/stab or any other way to get rebel status you might be wondering how do i know if this freeday actually rebel if this was added make it so if this happens the freeday rebeller trail is remove for this type of situation

Correct me if i have any grammar mistake please

appears the general census is 3 minutes, I agree generally. 3 minutes gives the reds enough time to attempt a round end secret Like alkatraz's or volcano. Also gives time for the reds who just want to enjoy the freeday to play a minigame of choice. But not the point where the round is really dragging on.

I have taken my suggestion to the other admins but i will post it publicly here as well

My suggestion would be: After warden locks, short the current timer to 3:00

I feel like this would bring less confusion to non regular players since i can already feel the non jb’er spam reports/call for “freekilling” because they were not aware of the rule, or blues not killing all reds after the time period.

Also i feel like shorting the timer instead will put more pressure on rebellers but also gives non rebellers enough time to lurk at bit

I would suggest the timer to short to 2:00 or 3:00

Also, if we would imply all reds are kos after certain time doesn’t mean the round ends.. it could still drag on for minutes because the blues are having trouble killing the rebellers

I'm more of the opinion that after a certain period of time blu's should be allowed to enact man-hunts and end reds en-mass. maybe a timer of 2-3 minutes could go off letting everyone know shits about to go down whilst also removing freedays. I think this could not only prevent delay and give more rounds to each map but also lets reds and blu's unionize and contribute to another aspect of jb's gameplay, a psuedo warday.

I and many other can say that they sat through a round where reds didn't have a rebelling bone in their bodies and curious george'd around the map until console slayed red team. I dont think others should have to sit and watch someone do nothing but explore a map for however long since warden died; encourage the progression of each round.

Hmm
This could work, but I think it would require too many situational things such as "oh warden died at 5:02 yall are kos" or people who just want to not be murdered on sight basically as soon as warden died. Maybe I am overthinking this, but I see this as an idea that is really really good on paper, but has too many variables working against it in practice, If anyone disagrees I'd love to hear why because I kinda like the idea in theory.
I think a fix to that would be that we use Ocl's idea, but if something like that 5:02 thing happens, we could have it to where if it was about half a minute before 5:00, it can still be allowed. People like to be very stingy about the time, so this would be a good solution. Open to more ideas though.

Sorry but ONE MINUTE? might as well just slay all the reds after the warden dies...

Freedays can be fun for the first few minutes. There's no need for a freeday if you only get 60 seconds to do anything. 3-4 minutes is the perfect amount of time to get everything done.
You'd be surprised how fast reds can rebel. I think this is reasonable enough, as veterans know plenty of ammo spots across the maps, and those who aren't familiar with them could simply follow them.

Team talked to Berke about a possible plugin solution and its progressing steadily, till then we just have to wait and see how things turn out, if anyone has any other thoughts to drop please do so

A similar suggestion you made is well over 2 years old now due to hold for pretty much the same reason, holding out for a plugin update/implement.

I think you should explore alternatives that don't involve coding existing or adding plugins.
It's well documented the history of suggestions Lost for reasons like (we will wait for redux) (we'll explore implementing a fresh plugin). Perhaps just a simple rule change would suffice, maybe even just as a test? Or maybe temporary until you're actually sure of a plugin being introduced? Just some ideas off the top of my head.

I completely understand where you're coming from but things are a lot more different than they were 3 years ago, there is genuinely a chance of this getting plugin, in soonish panda fashion
If we do pursue a rule change, it must come after exhausting all options, in other words the team will only consider a rule change if the plugin fails to manifest in the next round of JB updates
We arent really interested in something temporary

We want this bad, I wont let this get stuck in pending purgatory
