Hello Pandas.
Recently i found out a game i had (War of the roses) has shut down, the servers are offline. I want to get a refund but steam won't give my money back stating i have too much playtime. What can i do ?

Um... you keep it?

(Reluctantly and unfortunately. As I would in your shoes)

It shouldn't matter, if you tell in your ticket that the servers are down and that it isn't possible to play you should still be able to.

Of course, your chances of that happening gets lower the more playtime you have :p

got 300 hours, allready two tickets declined =/

You can't refund a game you have more +2 hours on.
If you have 300+, they'll deny it, of course, even with the reason you have.

The Steam Support service basically is non-existent, so there's also that.
Eh, I wouldn't say that. I refunded 4 games because I simply didn't like them, and received my money back within 12 hours - 1 day. If you meet the refund policy, they'll automatically accept your request.

No I mean like the complicated issues. It's easy enough to just accept a bunch of inquiries that fit a standard yes or no policy, but for cases such as OxyGen's case it's pretty hard to work with the current system.

Well, i guess i'll just stay with a dead game in my library then -_-

2 hours playtime.
If you haven't played it at all, you have 2 weeks to refund it after you purchase it.
