(First I want to note that I've never been one to have popular opinions so if you disagree please don't roast the hell out of me, I'm trying
.)
With the ''remove pokemon day'' suggestion, the most common argument against it is that it turns the round into a slog and most of the round just becomes waiting around until you either get killed in cells or until the failround kicks in after 10 minutes, so I came up with a few rules/ideas to make it less of a pain to sit through and to lower the amount of failrounds it causes as well
-First up, let's ditch the whole ''making teams'' part of it, at least in the 1v1's. Making teams will always be a pace killer and always takes up half the round, if not more. Just two people picking one red each
-Second, let's also get rid of the whole ''putting all the reds in a single space'' part. What's wrong with just letting the reds remain in cells, or at the very least cell area itself so reds can move around and even have a chance to rebel without all being in a space small enough to be blown up by a single soldier? On most, if not all maps you can see what's going on right outside of your cell door, you can still watch the two reds fight without having to confine all of them in a small space free to get killed before they ever had a turn.
-Third... I don't actually have a third, those two were the big ones that I feel like is what makes pokemon day so unfun to most people but if you have more ideas feel free to post em in the comments. Now don't forget to like, subscribe and ring that bell!
I hope I cooked a little, lmk what yall think
