Hi everyone, hope you are all having a great day so far.
I am suggesting that we unrestrict Simon Says from its current LR only form but with a catch:
1. There must be four or less blues in order for the warden to play simon says. This allows for a median to where if there is a moderately low amount of blues for 20 reds you can still run a normal round while also thinning out reds that aren't necessarily paying attention, making wardens not have to rely on purely cell wars or other means.
2. Standardize the method of starting and ending Simon Says in the rules. "Simon says we are playing simon says, simon says I am simon" and "Simon says we are no longer playing simon says, simon says I am no longer simon" is what I would view as a clear and concise way to start and end the minigame without reds being confused, while also alerting the blue team to be careful. When the LR pops up as Simon Says I do this and it always works. Freekilling simply has not been a problem in my recent experience with this LR.
3. Unless specified otherwise "Warden kills only" takes effect at the start of the minigame, but may be rescinded upon the warden ordering it. This would be akin to minigames where blues could not press buttons without the warden's direct permission
4. Force Simon Says to be started at the beginning of the day while reds are in cells, like it is now. That would give it the same cell wars type vibe while also alerting Reds that they must be careful when listening to the warden this round.
Simon Says can be a fun minigame for people to play and has seen an uptick amongst the later night population, and I feel as though some standardization could allow this minigame to be used outside of LRs with little to no problems.
Here is what I would add as "Simon Says" under the rules
----------------------------
Simon Says is a minigame where the Prisoners have to follow "Simon AKA the Warden" to follow Simons orders, if the Prisoner fails to follow Simons order he will be killed. This must be started by saying "Simon says we are playing simon says, simon says I am simon" and ended by saying "Simon says we are no longer playing simon says, simon says I am no longer simon". This minigame must be started at the beginning of the round, and the warden will proceed with a normal day after it begins. Unless otherwise stated by the warden, he is the only blue able to kill during this time.
Simon Says may only be played with four or less guards alive at the start of the round, however this minigame can be chosen as an LR without the guard requirement.
----------------------------
Vote if you think it should be unrestricted or kept as is!
