I feel as though this would give them an unfair advantage over any other red in minigames such as climb and obstacle course to name a couple.

Isnt the whole reason scout cant double jump is that its gives them a huge advantage in minigames
warden can restrict so it doesn't matter when it comes to fairness in minigames

now what we should talk about is scouts advantage in rebelling, does scouts deserve a boost or will they remain nerfed?

edit: also keep in mind they can still get 1 shot by some classes and blue team tend to have at least one of those classes

Most of the time they arent even able to see or kill the rebeller in time , having this feature would make it even harder for the blues

to be fair even heavies have escaped without being seen

but yes, double jumps will give scouts opportunity to get to places they normally wouldn't. lol hns would be even better with this

We can go on and on about how minigames are unfair and rebelling gets all gugged up, but shouldn't that be obvious lol. I mean even bumble beam of all gamesallows the scout to just completely defeat the pupose of the game by falling, double jumping back up, and surviving. You can always just slam a restriction, but I personally hate restricting stuff man. most of them are completely useless as is, and adding one that restricts a red from having a massive advantage by default is just kind of even more lame

I am rather worried ubered basher scout pushes becoming even harder to stop because doding explosives becomes easier and whatnot. I wrote a lot about it but no body wants to read that lmfao.
Also class diversity tanks and like a quarter of the red team is scouts whenever the plugin breaks and they can double jump again. I love seeing a wide range of classes, and seeing the server consistently having a half dozen scouts at least would kinda suck ngl.

In the original thread you mention that scout is the best class to rebel with, but then go on about how hard it is to kill a guard. How can something be the best if it is very difficult to actully get work done? Why should we buff the BEST at doing something? Why not give heavies a double jump so the most difficult class from a mobility standpoint gets a buff? Sounds silly, but buffing the objectively best class from a mobility standpoint that also has one of the best damage outputs as a rebeller is even more silly to me than a double jumping heavy.

it would be good if its after rebelling imo, because if you rebel, it wont go away and having a double jump means a 1v1 with guaranteed crit blue might just be fairer
if you use this just in general in lets sayyy obby or climb? its not gonna be fair for someone not playing scout is it

literally this happens every time the plugin breaks anyways, wardens just restrict double jumping. Literal non issue there.
 
So whats the point of adding it?
For rebelling scouts, It allows them to get to areas that allow them to escape faster. It's never an issue when the plugin breaks and scouts can. Because it just doesn't give them as much of an advantage as you'd think.
 
It's DOUBLE JUMP. not like we're giving red scouts guaranteed crits... I really don't understand the backlash here
 
I've seen what crazy stuff people do with a Boston basher, giving them a 2nd jump or heck a 3rd jump with the atomizer sounds like hell for blues.
 
I mean what about letting the scout double jump with the atomizer. I do feel like scouts should be able to double jump not just for rebelling purposes but in general. I don't think it makes anything unfair, if you're worried about minigames restrict it, blus have guaranteed crits so therefore red scouts should double jump :)

Add it , the plugin keeps breaking. If you don't like double jumping then restrict it for entire round...
