Declined Limit blues mini-game chaining when no LR is present (1 Viewer)

okay so here is a hot take what would you all think if we restricted the blue team from spamming 1 or 2 of the same mini-game in a row

for example 1st round they only did sweeper round 2 they can no longer chose sweeper unless it's chosen by lr , round 4 they can once again choose sweeper if they is no LR saying otherwise


i think this would be intresting to playtest given how many times blues will only play climb , sweeper , obby etc etc when the map has many other games that can be played.

i'm thinking it will spice up the rounds instead of every warden basically copy pasting the last warden's orders
1. go to <colour> line afk freeze
2. crouch walk to <obby , climb , sweeper>
3. round ends
4. new warden
5. repeats last round

With all due respect to you as a person and the ideas. This seems, unnecessary. Who cares if the same game is repeated? Most people don't even do that in the first place unless its a certain map (Example being Supermario where Speedrun is to be played at least once when the match starts). I just don't see any reason to make a restrictive game mode even MORE restrictive by not allowing games to be chained ad Infinium. If you don't like to see games chained. Just join Blu. (unless something prevents you from doing so)

I know speedrun on Supermario is played to its limit. But besides that, I can't really recall any situation like this occurring on a regular basis.

yeah @Bambi had the entire server laughing their asses off at disco being chained for an entire map. I don't know if you were on, but if you were then this suggestion is legit just one unhappy customer trying to start a boycott on a product people love because they just really want to do something performative

the other day we was on alkatraz surf got spammed all map till reds yelled to pick a different game

I don't really think it's necessary despite the same rotation of minigames getting played (Obby, Climb, Sweeper) for multiple rounds, if it bothers you that much you should just join BLU and force Warden like Knyght said.

EDIT: Another thing I forgot to add was that if you ask the REDs what they want to do they will pick games they've had practice on already. So yeah, they will pick the same games over and over again. Just don't take shit and do the game you wish you'd played, hopefully other REDs will like it and will request it next time the map's played and you're on RED.

In all seriousness it's no fun worrying about (or moderating) rules about mini games, for either team. Some servers are (or were) overzealous about this approach. I choose panda as my jailbreak server because of its reasonable and hands off manner.

even if this suggestion passed, could it reasonably even be enforced? how is a blu who joins halfway through a map’s duration supposed to know which mini games were played the last 3 rounds before they joined?

I can tell you right away that this cannot be reasonably enforced and it comes with multitude of problems for the players and the admins. If you don't like the warden playing the same minigame over and over again then just rebel. The point of jailbreak is to either survive long enough to get LR or rebel to defy wardens order.
