I'm putting my wallet on the line here folks! (Please don't acknowledge my pfp or my discord name)

Rather than an autoslay after 2:20mins (20 seconds after the warden locks and 2 mins till the plugin activates), all reds become rebellers.

This allows Red Players to gear up in two minutes before they are given rebel status, and start killing off the blue team.

This also allows Blu Players to have a chance and kill the rebellers instead of being instantly slayed with no way of countering.

If the alive reds want the round to end, they will work for it and kill the blus faster.
If the alive blus want the round to end, they will work for it as well.


This would create more gameplay opportunities for players instead of the rounds being ended artificially through a slay.,

I believe the argument of "delayers would run rampant". In the times before we had this plugin to begin with, I would have to agree. People would purposefully not rebel, not get ammo, and delay the round till the last second. With suggestion, it will essentially give everyone on the Red team a Rebel status and thus KOS.

There’d preferably have to be some sort of announcement that all REDs can be freely killed a la LGKA, but otherwise I’m on board with this.
 
Somewhat counter-intuitive to the original purpose of the plugin.
The anti-delay plugin, in this proposed state, would do little but 'encourage' delay to not occur.
I very much prefer the concrete and finite end the timer brings.
At the end of the day, it keeps the occasional long drawn-out round from occurring, and keeps the tempo of JB much more consistent.
 
So we'd go back to being stuck in spectator watching a scout run around the map delaying for five minutes like it was before the new plugin arived.

this is an extreme!!!!! most rounds ended in a timely manner and I honestly rarely was bothered by long wasted freedays.

This generation would not survive in the asylum that Jailbreak was when it raised me
 
I feel like we lower the timer to gear up from 2 mins to 1 minute to have less delay as getting ammo is fairly easy and does not require lots of time after warden dies a minute after rebel status comes

I feel the plugin how it is now, essentially discourages blues to do anything after Warden dying. Their round is already over. I don't believe we should cater to red players. Jailbreak should be catered to both types of players.

To all those who voted No, would adding a finite timer afterward, perhaps 1min all is kos, and 3mins all is slayed. Would this be more in favored?

Eh idk, i dont wanna have reds and blus walk in circles like it has been often the case. Without any party getting slayed. I would keep it as is. If blu team wants some kills they should protect the warden.
 
If anything, change the time back to 3 minutes and forcegive reds ammo after 1 Minute, this way the guards just kill whoever they see instead of checking the Chat and remembering all the names.
 
This is a huge split in the community. To be honest, this sounds like a great idea, but I agree with Cowboy. This wouldn't solve the delaying problem, just encourage rebelling reds to hide more. I'm still voting yes for this, but in my opinion, instead of this or this "kill all blues after 2 minutes" plugin, just give all reds Beacon 4 minutes after Warden dies. Not sure how audible it is, but it would be a good thing if we do end up adding the rebel status after 2 minutes suggestion.

This misunderstands what makes the anti delay plugin great, the slaying is the entire point.

Before this we already had a “make every red KOS after some time” system, it was called LGKA. That wasn’t enough. People weren’t just upset about the time it took for 2 guards to become 1, they were upset that LGKA itself could take a while, even on small maps.

I also don’t understand you trying to make major suggestions when you don’t even play on the server regularly.

Because I’m free to suggest whatever on a public forum. I’ve also stopped playing because, not to sound rude, but I have a life. I’m a full time student, and work 32hr weeks, and on my off-time I have personal projects. I do play jailbreak when I want and I believe playtime or playing on the server regularly is absolutely irrelevant when it comes to justifying any suggestion.

what about an "[TF2Jail] Everyone Is KOS!" in chat instead then if that's possible?

for my opinion,
on one hand, marking all reds as KOS wouldn't make some reds automatically rebel and kill the blues. they can still hide in vents for example.
while typing this i literally realized that "actively rebel" is a thing so this argument is invalid lol

anyway uh, i would very much like to see this implemented, and if it turns out to be shite then we can always revert it to what it was before.

my vote goes to a yes.

well yeah, you still have those edge cases where it does occur that a rebeller takes a whole 5 minutes to find any Blue. (on maps like volcano for example)
