looking at ppl opinion on the server they like the other maps like cyber and simu but cant say the same for sonic so i doubt they would care for a timer extend for that map
ps: the map also gets mostly only picked to avoid a repetitive map or maps that are overplayed like office

Damn, i did not know people just vote my map to avoid lazytown,berlin,cybertower,office which are popular maps in panda.

Only reason why i think they may have hated Sonic.exe was probably due to how long it is. That was the main reason from what i had saw unless if they're some other stuff i missed as I do check Panda Message Stats lol. That's kind of why i did added a short mode button, well on the latest versions on GB. another reason for the short mode button was because TT was impossible thanks to the timer.

Too be honest, Sonic.exe was actually meant to be a very hard map. However, i think i did some oopsies and made it easy. The only reason why TT was 5 minutes is because i made the minigame accurate to the Original TT. Well mostly the encore verison but its 5 minutes instead of 9. Eh, next time i am making a Harder map and better map this time lol so it may improve from Sonic.exe

I think the timer disable would work better for simulacrum since 2 of the bosses are unplayable thanks to it?

If this suggestion thread gets declined and if Sonic.exe gets updated, then i guess the short mode button could help make the map faster to have TT playable(well mostly freeruns, normal runs i don't really know)

If its gets approved then i guess Sonic.exe,Simulacrum,cybertower may no longer suffer from it.
 
There are some instances where maps don't have a motivator included (dr_cocainum, dr_safety_first - but the timer almost never reaches the end - ; dr_wintervalley_final - the spawn stalling with at least 2 medics healing each other - ; some pre-2016 maps; etc.) , so the timer is the only "salvation" for the round itself when there are people who stall, wether it's intentional or not, going at a slower pace or they're afk.

I agree that dr_simulacrum and dr_cybertower_v4 (very rarely reached end of timer) and very few couple of maps have a problem about the timer, due to the fact that a person who reached the end of the map has to either wait until the timer is close to the end, so that he can sacrifice and respawn the others for the said minigame / boss, or simply go for it and try to finish the minigame in time.

There were a couple of suggestions said in the server about a vote system that would either extend the timer by 5/10 minutes or simply eliminate the timer for the rest of the duration of the map, but I haven't seen any suggestions made in the forums.

Too be hontest, this is for maps that suffer with the timer. I did not say to disable the timer fully, just for the maps listed.

But yeah. the timer should just mostly delete stalling on main deathrun, not when players are trying to beat a minigame. Just imagine some player is SO close into beating Simulacrum's boss or TT only to get trolled by some stupid timer.
