What was your experience after joining ANY Jailbreak server for the first time? (1 Viewer)

I started out on Wonderland (shame on me) many years ago. It was honestly a real mess if I Look back at it. You could buy incredibly dumb perks in spawn which can make an entire round into a shitshow. Oh and did you know you could buy back in with store credits.... Yes you could buy back once you died. Honestly been hooked to that gamemode ever since.

First JB server ever I joined was a Russian jb server, it was mlcastle and i was so confused about not being able to respawn, I was relatively new to Tf2 at the time and only stayed in the server for minutes before leaving

My earliest memory of a jb session in Panda JB was a Jailfort round on the same day I got my forums account, The reason why I remember it so much is its the same day i got spraybanned for having an Astolfo spray with his nipples showing, Oppression.

The last good memory I have is that from EU Jailbreak back in 2017.
I got a guardban due to me not even understanding basic communication back then. It was not permanent I believe so I waited a little.
Eventually the time came where the ban expired. It was the very old snowday map, and @Madact was there to see my very first baby steps of being a warden.
How did my first time as warden go? FYI: this was like the first time an entire server full of strangers would listen to every single word I said and therefore I was incredibly fucking nervous.

At first I was surprised because I was not prepared for that. After a given amount of time in the range of just being forced warden, to cells automatically opening. I was carefully thinking through what I should say, however I was frozen in time. I did not not know what to do, but the people in the server were very supportive, helping me with every step along the way. Finally, I was freed from my frozen state and could move again. What was my first action you may ask?

Atleast Madact had mercy on me and gave me another chance next round which was also bad, as I did not give orders the first time around. My first normal orders were along the lines of "afk in cells", "crouchwalk to yellow line", "what minigame do you want to play", like an entire minute of silence where I try to figure out where obby is (requested by the reds), and then "go to obby". What happened after that is something I cannot remember, but is up to your imaginations.

the first jailbreak server i ever joined, was on jail_minecraft_dynf. i remember i was on blu, as a heavy. i had absolutely NO idea what jailbreak was. i think the first order was ''go to the warden marker'' or some thing like that. some red hit me, while i was on stairs, i kill him, i get guard banned and i insta leave the server. i played jailbreak again a few days later on a Elysium i had fun and learned how to play. Now i never play jailbreak

I distinctly remember joining Panda NY JB in 2017 for the sole reason of it was the only american server at the time that wasn't running space jail and I guessed that space jail was some sort of normie overplayed map.

It was probably in 2015, it’s a very vague memory but it was on Minecraft dynf on wonderland I believe, and I joined blue team to avoid getting constantly randomly killed by the blus, as I didn’t have much of a clue what was happening. Soon enough, I get randomly chosen as warden and I have no idea what’s going on and around 10 people are yelling at me at once so I just killbind so people can stop yelling at me. After that of course, everyone starts calling me an incompetent retard and it hurt my feelings enough to not play until 2020 when I found the panda server.

So, whenever i see people have a similar experience as me, I try to understand and not get mad at them, as I have been in their exact spot before

I randomly came across a Jailbreak server sometime in late 2014. I was a dumb 14-year-old back then and probably broke the rules a lot on most Jailbreak servers I went on.

16-year-old me managed to improve my image in early 2017 and become a mod and later admin for War3Evo Jailbreak (human would become a mod there a year later). Unfortunately the server died out in early 2020 but I still have great memories there.

Then I finally got back into Jailbreak in mid-2021 with this server.

This was the first jb server I ever played and i've just kinda stuck with it. I remember escaping the jail once thinking "oh hey I can do what I want now" and then dieing 2 seconds later

Well boys, I have something to tell you. Sit back and relax and grab a couple of energy drinks.

It all began with my chad late 2011 Imac where I first started TF2. Played for hours till end (Hit around 300 hours). Then I discovered the community server browser and that is where I found my first server. Remind you I was 13 during this time.

I hopped on and I didn't know what I was doing at first. I was getting killed left and right until I figured out I need to follow the wardens orders so I can finally get my LR. After trying out jailbreak for couple of days I decided to work my courage to join on blue team. This is where it all falls apart. Once I became warden...I spoke out the following words.

"Uh, I don't know how to be warden"

Everyone: GET THE FUCK OFF BLUE / OMG DUMB WARDEN /etc...I don't remember much. All I remember was everyone screaming at me.

Then I was hammered down with a 120 guardban or something? No teamswitch or anything or heart given to me at all. Just an instant guardban. By then I was sad. "Damn, I got yelled at and now banned? Should I go to another server?" I say. NO! I continued playing! This is where I took my guardban like a chad and never made an appeal (Because I didn't know forums existed during this). I met some very cool people like @Fathi / @Addster / @ZeroPC and I still remember Zero being a jb admin. I also remember other people like @Larry which during that time was known as A depressed sandvich. Then once my guardban expired its BACK TO BEING ON BLUE BABY. Nah just kidding.

Only for me to get guardbanned for the reason of turning on collision during meatgrinder on one podium of obby. I still took it like a chad. Then more time of waiting out my guardban I created a meme where I would get guardban for the 100th time. Guardban expired and I continued playing.

Couple of notable mentions during this time period. I remember ghosting @Roar's HP in Spacejail obby. I typed the chat the following "HES AT *Insert hp* GET HIM".
Roar than said the following "Nice ghost"
Then I was gagged in chat by @Bambi. Damn, good times but also haha I've been gagged moment.
