Mine is Personal Computer (this one where I am writing to you). It's a HP Laptop Notebook.
That's not fact of being addicted, gamer, or how you want to call it, or because my pc is nice and "powerful", no.
It's fact of having lots, hundreds of memories, notes, images, songs, works, stories, and so on, collected/made during time.
And, I couldn't do many things without it (also for school).
It's not materialism, so. It's affection
I couldn't imagine or stand my actual life without it.
What about you?
EDIT: Well, water, oxygen, heart, vital organs are needed, but then?
