As well all know, map voting and rule agreement is like so:

1. tfdb_shittymap
2. tfdb_crappymap
3. tfdb_agoodmap
4.
5.

1. I agree
2. I do not agree

Now the thing is, most people on the servers, (generalising for dodgeball) are pretty dumb.
This means they just mash 1 to get through any side SM menus.
This happened to me a couple seconds ago, iPhones got voted on instead of Octagon or Box Space, and anyone that knows these maps, knows that iPhones is eye-blinding AIDS.
Same goes for the rule agreements.

Other servers such as Pandemic, and GFL, have their maps and all menus bound to 4/5/6/7/8 etc, so people actually look. I've brought this up before, and it's a genuine issue, because no one looks at what they vote/agree to. I suggest we also remap our numbers to those too.

This is indeed a big issue on dodgeball :/
Would be great if this could be fixed by giving the maps different numbers.
Same with the rules they just hit 1 to get rid of it but hardly ever look at it, let alone read it.

Agreed, this is also an issue for Deathrun. Make this a poll!

For most servers, people mashing 1 with the rules is not that much of an issue. For Dodgeball but especially Jailbreak, it is. Perhaps we should only switch the numbers on those servers. That is, when the menus are actually properly changed, like they should have been by now.

The map vote change has been on the to do list for ages.

That's not a complete vote. As I said, I'm all for changing the map vote numbers, but not the numbers in the rules menu.

It's not an issue, no, but I guarantee that most people just tap 1 and go right through it. At least rebinding them will ensure people read it at least a bit. Even just inverting them will work.

So it will catch them off guard once, but afterwards they will just learn to press 4 instead of 1. Unless it's gonna be random numbers each time (Which will be confusing for regulars), it will not change things.

The first alternative should be "No vote" then. :)

I like the thing you mentioned where the numbers of choice would be 6,7,8... etc. Some people might actually read to vote but yet again some people don't really have time for life and will just randomly choose anything.

That's why I like what Danny said about the first option being No vote. That would help.
