Hello.

Earlier today someone thought I seemed suspicious when I was playing on pandacommunity's war3source orange server. Naturally and respectably, an admin came to check it out.

One full hour later there seems to be enough evidence against me, and I am banned from the server. Permanently. After 9 days of gametime, as you can see in my signature.

Those who initially called the admin claim I'm using an aimbot. The admin disagreed, but instead felt that I was using wallhack. The demo file can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l1bnzs2mnym7ssf/viking.dem?dl=0

I was too lazy to watch all of it, but was pointed to tick 30760, where apparently I line up perfectly with a sniper through a wall, then proceed to charge out a window directly at him. I miss and get horribly destroyed by a crit.

I want people to have a look at the demo and say what they think. Bear with the horrible shakiness of the demo.

Nothing else to add, except that you might want to watch from 30500 on with replay_rendersetting_renderglow set to one. He jumps in the window, looks to his right to the sniper, jumps back. Then he jumps back in the window and charges at the sniper.

30500 is only the critical spot. There are small things like tick 18600 where he charges the spy. That might've just been practising trimping but I can't explain what happens at 30500+ and his explainations sounded really wierd.

I first took notice around the tick stated on the first link, I noticed that his Demoman projectiles were not quite lined up correctly, some shots even leaning out. At first I figured latency, but then started to suspect.

From that point on I spectated him and other dodgy/fishy occurrences happened.

His aim would go weird, aiming really far out as if to snaplock to a spot (predict) and then instantly snap back once the shot was made - This was observed with his Demoman, Soldier and Sniper.

His Demoman charges were extremely odd in that the player would charge out in an odd angle and come back in for a perfect charge at someone, even towards players that he couldn't actually see (see Zeprus' comment).

It felt like everything he did outside of sniping and Scout gameplay was prediction based...

Speaking of his Scout, he almost never missed a pistol shot with it. Zou and Zeprus noticed this when playing against him, as well as me and Tomeno noticing it from the spectate box.

There are other things that I (we) noticed, but I cannot directly remember them.

This is the longest and probably best demo I have.
Tick 30k for Scout with ridiculous snapping at the beginning and then obivious pistol aimbot with nospread. Absolutely ridiculous pistol shots at 47k.
Tick 50k and 100k for Soldier, obivious prediction.

And I don't think that it would serve any purporse to find more obivious spots because it has already been estabilished that he was using aimbot.

That would explain the minigun accuracy deviation, still accurate but had shots miss between.

showing completely normal gameplay footage. Any other regular player on this server (excluding the grudgeful tomeno) can vouch that this is how I usually play. How I've been playing for 9 days total.

Is it worth mentioning how I acknowledged the admin in chat at some point during that footage? Nobody would cheat/hack when they know they're being spectated.

I really didn't want to spend this much time on all this. I kinda expected the cavalry of justice to swoop in and make everyone understand the truth, as things should be.

^ This is why it's dumb to share evidence of hacking with the person in question. You get arguing. Just distribute it among the admins and let them decide.

There were 2 admins in the server at the time of the ban, both were sceptical. Zeprus saw something and double checked it, then applied the ban. Zou didn't say anything against the ban, but the player appealed. Tomeno has the ticks appropriate to what was noted in above posts. I have the full footage from the moment he connected to the moment he was banned.

viking can see the spec chat, too.
If viking should be a hacker, then he shouldn´t know that there was zou and zeprus(perfectly administrating) to ban him. I can´t see that he was hacking. But ok. Im resigned. It isn´t my opinion. He have a playtime of 7 days(?) there of the "fucking same map" (u didn´t need wallhack to see that someone is respawning after 1-2 seconds.)

If he can see (Spectator) team chat, then that further increases my belief that he uses hacks, and that you have been aware of it.

can´t see an example for hack´s btw at the demo. "trimping" is easy to try and learn it. Where i can see the wallhack? i´m neutral at this.
