When I checked sourcebans I found out that you're that person who is constantly insulting and raging at others, so I changed the mute (5th in your case) to a permanent one.

How can it be, that you amass a total of 11 infractions for basically the same offense and don't notice, yet now you come here to appeal?

You were permanently gagged for Insulting and then, within roughly 3 weeks (1 week of which you couldn't talk), you were permanently muted for the exact same reason. Even if you ignored all the other punishments, a permanent would be considered a warning shot by anyone who really wants to play here.

If I was permanently gagged for insulting, damn I would watch what I say over voice so damn closely and I'd make sure what I say is absolutely specless.

There can be a variety of reasons for a punishment. One could reason that it is there to help the person being punished see their wrongdoing and correct it. Clearly you have not learned one bit from punishments, otherwise you wouldn't have amassed so many within a mere 2.5 months. Another reason can be deterrence. It's sad that some people need this, but it's also a factor. What will people think if they see you getting away with this kind of behaviour? Some will think something along the lines of "wow, what a ...", others might think: "well if he gets away with it i might aswell do the same". Unbanning you would send that "he got away with it" signal, especially if you don't change up your act, which, as far as you've shown, you are unable or unwilling to do. The last reason is simply to permanently take away your ability to insult people such as to make you stop, because you didn't stop by yourself.

And coming back less than two months later asking for an ungag and saying that you've changed, something you failed to do after all these punishments, is hard to believe to say the least.
