My Suggestion would be the Moderator. A new rank that people would get after applying. The application should be easier than the Admin app tough.

His powers would consist of the following things:
-Guardban
-Kick
-Mute
-Slay

The Moderator tough, would only be allowed to use his powers while there is no admin or higher ranked online. He acts as a small replacement during that time.

Full admin = admin.

The powers you listed are sort of what's only available to trials, regardless.

Also, having such a rank screws up the mentor part of adminship and clogs up the system, so no.

Plus if there is no admins on, the !call system is still available.

I have seen communities that have "paid for admins" and in no case has it ended well, as for the main point of this thread, I agree with Random, there is no need for an extra rank when we have a perfectly decent mentorship system in place.
