An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
  • Added Crate #75, Crate #76, and Crate #77 to the drop list
  • Removed Crate #57, Crate #59 and Crate #71 from the drop list
  • Added new Strange parts that can be applied to Strange cosmetic items
  • Fixed a client crash related to the Mann vs. Machine mission victory panel
  • Fixed players being able to level-up some Strange items when playing on servers with only bots
  • Fixed some cases where Halloween spell effects on items would not appear when they were supposed to
  • Fixed robot Engineer head not looking correct for the Botkiller Sniper Rifle Mk.II
  • Fixed killstreak notices being stuck on the screen when the map is changing levels
  • Fixed Team Shine killstreak sheen effect not displaying properly for the Blue team
  • Updated several backpack images to fix issues caused by mat_picmip
  • Updated Killstreak Kits to work on Festive and Botkiller variants of target weapons
  • Updated pl_upward
    • Fixed players getting stuck in the initial Red spawn room after control point 2 is capped
    • Improved bot navigation
  • Updated cp_gorge
    • Improved bot navigation
  • Updated Mann vs. Machine
    • Fixed players who join in the middle of a mission not receiving the Upgrade Refund credit if it has been earned by the team
    • Fixed Romevision hats conflicting with gatebot hats in Mannhattan
    • Fixed an exploit that allowed purchasing upgrades for weapons other than what they were intended for
    • Updated mvm_rottenburg
      • Fixed a bug where the bomb could get stuck out of reach in the corner near the cap
      • Fixed a bug where bots could be instantly killed by being pushed into the tank tunnel once opened
      • Fixed a bug where money could get stuck in the tank barricade when it was rebuilt, preventing collection
    • Updated mvm_mannhattan
      • Rebalanced Empire Escalation
      • Fixed credits not always being collected when they fall into the grinder
      • Fixed a bug that allowed the gates to be captured out of order
      • Fixed a lighting bug related to lower graphics settings that cause the map to be too dark

  • Full nerf of Empire Escalation:
  • The Starting Currency is up to 900 from 800.
  • Snipers in Wave 4 now initially spawn at 120 seconds into the wave instead of 20 seconds. They respawn every 45 seconds up from 25. Only 2 snipers spawn now instead of 4.
  • There are now 6 Giant Crit Huntsmans in Wave 2 instead of 10. They now spawn every 12 seconds instead of every 10.
  • There are now 6 total Shotgun Soldiers in wave 2 instead of 9.
  • There are now 10 Huo-Long Heater Heavies in wave 2 instead of 15. They spawn every 18 seconds instead of every 14.
  • There is now 1200 Credits in Wave 3 instead of 1000.
  • The final Demo spawns in Wave 3 are worth 300 total credits instead of 100.
  • There are now 4 Giant Crit Soldiers in Wave 4 instead of 4. They spawn after 10 seconds instead of 5, and spawn every 33 seconds, up from every 17.
  • The Heavies in Wave 4 now spawn after 20 seconds instead of after 2, and are now ‘Easy’ Instead of ‘Hard.’
  • There are now 2 Giant Scouts wave 4 instead of 4, and there can only be 1 out at a time instead of 2. This is for the first set of spawns.
  • There are now 2 Giant Scouts in the second set of spawns in wave 4 instead of 3. They spawn every 10 seconds instead of every 1. but no longer have a delay before spawning.

I like the idea behind some of these new Strange parts.

I am not too sure about Empire Escalation though. This seems like a pretty massive nerf. Easy-mode ahoy!
 
Time to put Dmg dealt behind my FaN and see if it counts goombas.

...bots don't count towards stranges




EDIT: WOOHOO new naughty and nice crates,time to unbox some more festives!

Also, Stranges don't count towards any action with bots...
But... you can still farm points on S. miscs with 1 server plugin.
 
Feeling like trying my hand at not getting S.Festives again...

With Escalation's nerf I might pick up some MvM tickets and waste time trying to get an Australium weapon...
 
Problem is the other mission of Mannhattan, wave 5 there is impossibly hard. But they didnt nerf it .-.
 
How difficult actually are the new MvM missions? I was going to try my hand at the new stuff, but I've never been great at MvM.

The only thing I thought you're good at..
I tried one of the new maps, if you don't work as a team you'll lose, no matter how good you are.
 
we can play all mvm if someone wants
