Monday through Friday: 5pm - 10pm (this changes, sometimes I'm on earlier and on for a lot longer)
Saturday until Sunday: Anywhere from 11am - 2am to 6pm - 4am because I go out a lot on the weekends.
- Which of our servers do you usually play on and wish to apply for? Would you visit a broader range of servers in case of a report?
When I'm online and ingame I'm usually on the dodgeball2 server.
However because I know all the rules for the other servers and know how irritating it is to have to have to play with rules being broken (stealing is a big pet hate of mine) when an admin isn't available to deal with it I will happily go over to other servers to resolve problems.
- Do you have a microphone?
I have a microphone and I will use it if people want me to use it however I prefer not to unless I'm skyping people.
- Your previous experience as Admin or Moderator
I currently admin on the group TF2 Casino and Gambling (6k members) which we have our own event server with a custom made map over there. I often host free giveaway events and games over there so I know how to deal with rule breakers. I've been in this group from very close to the creation of the group, this group will always be my main group (however I mostly do raffles and giveaways in the group because my role isn't orientated for the server, so this won't affect my role in being an admin over here).
I also am an admin on two other raffle/giveaway groups that I am active on and you can find a link to them on my profile because I don't think these two are relevant as I only do raffles over there, nothing to do with servers.
- Do you have experience with administrating with SourceMod?
Yes I do have experience (as I mentioned above), I admin on a group where we have our own server which is up to date with most required plugins. However I do need to learn quite a bit about SourceMod, I do know all the ones that are required for this position.
- Why should we choose you to be part of our team?
J̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ The most important reason is that dodgeball2 desperately needs more admins. Whilst the current admins are very good at responding to the calls dodgeball2 still struggles the majority of the time I'm on there because there's always a group of stealers who are never dealt with because of admins being busy. Having another admin on dodgeball2 would help filter out all the rulebreakers.
In addition, I believe that I would make a good part of the admin team because I am very active on the server and also on the forums; whilst I doubt it'll affect my application and I'm in no way applying money makes me a better part of the community, I have donated to the community and plan on donating much more in the future.
- Finally, please briefly explain how you would do your job, e.g. a general overview of your policies and punishments.
I consider myself to be very firm with rules and will enforce them as soon as I see them being broken.
I will ALWAYS give a warning before I take any action because I do not believe muting a mic spammer or gagging a chat spammer before I ask them to stop is harsh.
However, if anybody says anything racist or along the lines of telling someone to kill themselves I will mute them/gag them without warning, I don't tolerate anything of the sort like that.
With stealers I will /csay every few minutes that stealing is forbidden and if people steal/attempt to steal once, I will slay them. Second time it is a slay and a warning; third is a kick and if they continue once they come back I will ban them. This rule stays the same for blockers. However, if someone crosses into the other side and they get blocked I won't count this as this is at their own fault.
I also count speaking in a foreign language the same as I count voice spammers (this is in the rules and I follow whatever I read).
Long orbiters will be slapped (to avoid the rocket switching and surprising someone else). I won't take any further action against this unless they continue after my third warning to them, which will result in a ban.
Pornographic sprays will be deleted and if put back up the sprayer will be banned.
