I am fairly certain Steam has proper "anti-DDoS" security in place, in case something like this were to happen. But it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't.

Well idk but they have hacked blizzard,callofduty,pokemongo,pornhub,etc. and they are doing it as it seems for fun, they even ask on Twitter what they should hack
