Why should you receive a unban for the gag: Quite frankly I believe it to be an overreaction for something that lasted for like not even 5 minutes.

Details: The only part of that gag that can somewhat and arguably hold ground (IMO) is the spam bit, which was just me doing what a lot of people do when LRs get accidentally missed. Except that this time it wasn't missed, but instead completely ignored in favor of last day warday with the opinion being that since one part of the LR was invalid it means that the whole thing is. A lot of the main argument part also happened in VC, and that only for less than a minute due to RED unmute timer and before I died to warday shenanigans.

My apologies for getting peeved that an Admin completely agreed to ignore an LR simply because one half of it was deniable. Which as far as I'm aware no one else has ever ignored a full LR unless the entire thing is deniable, at least I haven't seen that before. I did see the first few csay messages and I was responding to them prior to my death. I tab out when I die, so if anything was said after I didn't see it and that's on me.

Map change happens, what is said in hlstats is said. The gag gets passed to which immediately after we get a very kind and definitely not toxic "(ADMIN): Silence is bliss" comment. I didn't screenshot it though I really should've. But also Admin messages don't get saved in the public version of HLStats. Oh well. I don't know if there's an Admin version elsewhere.

To be quite frank, I don't mind whether or not the gag sticks seeing as it's only 24h. I'm doing this appeal for the paper trail because once again, in my opinion this was an over reaction for something that seriously and actively lasted for less than 5 minutes. If I'm wrong then so be it. Whatever.

Hello, the reason I gagged you was for telling a warden that they were not able to deny the lr after I had stated it was perfectly fine to do so.

I had stated both on mic, with csay and in chat multiple times to stop as it was deniable. You knew this 2 rounds prior, so did the lr reciever. My adminchat neither was directed towards you and was instead regarding overtalk, these messages i do vary in tone as it catches the servers attention and allows me to get clear messages towards them.

You previously had stated in discord messages that you did not see any of these messages and instead, were tabbed out. This is not only very disingenious because you were as well talking on mic while i used csay which is in the middle of everyone screens. But you had prior knowledge not just from that map, but from last night this LR was deniable. Instead you got very much angry at the warden, several players told you to cut it out and you responded in a toxic manner frankly. That is why you were gagged, simply put I told you to not do something as it was very disruptive and regulars as well agreed. Instead you continued on and did not stop, even to the next MAP as shown by chatlogs.

The JB server was also extremely loud in terms of voice chats and your voice got drowned out, sorry. I also did say that I had seen some of the messages, but not all of them. I was indeed aware that part of the LR was deniable, but I was also under the understanding that only the deniable part would be ignored which happens literally with any other LRs that have deniable parts. I also had other regulars tell me that what I was saying was not toxic and I don't believe I acted in a toxic manner.

The anger comes from it being completely denied in its entirety and I don't believe that anger equals toxicity.

Indeed, anything originating from any 3rd party servers are not weighed towards the decision at all. Gale just simply mentioned it.

I'll be the first one to say i am not a fan of 15 second clips and i don't believe this shows all the context, but it appears that gale is posting her admin messages in /Csay? I'm not sure why voices getting drowned out would be a factor here unless im missing something?

See, I agree and disagree with you here.

Anger doesnt always equal toxicity, but you spamming the chat and being so publicially combatative with an administrative decision is disruptive towards other players. Just reading through your chatlogs i can see multiple instances of you arguing with other players or admins openly and whenever you get upset you are very quick to let EVERYONE know how upset you are. Jailbreak can get frustrating, but openly arguing with a staff decision and failing to listen to their warnings is not what other players are there for. They dont want to watch you bicker and complain, they want to play jailbreak. If there is an admin decision that you disagree on, just open an admin report and allow the proper channels to handle it and avoid disrupting the server.

Im gonna leave this open and wait to see if i can track down some more video evidence to provide further context, but just reviewing the clip and your past chatlogs im leaning towards upholding this mute. If you have any questions or have any additional context i would be most appreciative.

I think I remember seeing Gale's name popping up in voice chat so I'm assuming they did try to also do some voice warnings on top of the /csay (which I have a hard time keeping track of most days), that's the drowned out voice comment context. The clip does show Gale using /csay which again I already stated I saw the first few ones, however after that clip finished (I clearly died) I tabbed out and didn't see any other ones afterwards. I was jugg- y'know what, doesn't matter.

Fair enough I suppose on the second to last paragraph, I guess. I still don't believe that this was toxic nor missinfo. I will however agree that it was disruptive and possibly spammy on the look back. Sidenote, but from personal experiences in other communities the type or report you're proposing rarely, if never, do anything. It simply sits there and rots away. I will try to keep it mind and maybe try my luck again with doing one should something like that happens again.

While we're at it, can we get an official statement over LR denials should only a single part of it be invalid or should that be another thread? Because personally I believe that only the invalid part should be ignored. We already do that for literally every single other LRs with deniable parts that I've seen until yesterday.

Whoops, this appeal slipped through the cracks for me. I should've handled this appeal much earlier, sorry about that.

Realistically, I might've given you a break if it ended up being stacked towards a perm, but in your own words you did not follow the admins instructions (Even if you didn't happen to see it) and you were disruptive to the server with your arguing and your spamming in chat. I think a 24 Suspension was a reasonable punishment for this specific example.

The gag was justified, upholding the punishment in this case and unfortunately will have to decline this appeal.
