for those who don't know what it is reds fight within the cell lines in main cell area. Basically extended cell wars but very restricted hg.

you may see no point of it but there is a reason why it was loved in 2016, its fun

yes but its a much better option. Blues gets to do a mini version of hungergames and allowing them to stop at any time. at the same time this actually gives better chances for reds since the area won't be as restricted as a medic room. might as well add it in my opinion. this is why i don't see a point in keeping it banned

Yeah this will only cause chaos and be a nightmare for all involved. Nothing else screams fun like a killing gloves of boxing heavy mowing everyone in his wake.
And this also makes me think of those "Killing is kos" rounds where all the reds will run for their life if they are actively being murdered, so killing someone for not being on the line because an ubered demo was running at them seems a bit unfun.

i mean this has worked normally before, medics usually dont get the chance to get a full uber unless warden actually waits a minute just to do it. i'd rather have this than meatgrinder

I'm surprised by the votes mainly because anyone that does the LR "HG but must be behind X line" literally is just playing line wars. Or when wardens restrict it- doesn't seem to have that much of a negative reaction contrary to this thread.

Is this minigame straight up banned in the rules or couldn’t it still be played (with the new ruleset coming April 1st) since its a custom minigame in cells if the # of blues allow it?

Well, it's banned under the basis that it's a custom minigame in cell area, might be worth repolling under whether or it should be banned regardless of the rule change coming next month.

i mean, i’m sure people would prefer this over cell wars since at least it gives much needed space. Best to let the suggestion for that drop if it actually becomes an issue.

It will be overshadowed by cellwars regardless because its the safest way for the blus to reduce the numbers, and yeah the whole favoring thing on who did or didnt leave the line or step over it is such an unnecessary thing to deal with.

Maybe as an LR only thing but you could just write "HG but be within the lines of the cells"

Ngl I thought "line wars" meant fighting one-dimensionally, which seems much more interesting than the current suggestion.
