Controversial suggestion time!
Currently after the new map updates have begun to settle in, I've started to think about a map that got added in the previous set of updates. Underjail.
In it's current state. It is heavily flawed as a map. It's a hallway map (Large open hallways easy for red snipers to abuse.) It's quite large too with certain parts of the map being neglected because of it.
And one major issue. Cell doors can be shot through. This leads to 90% being ruined before they can start. As a red scout can simply throw a ball at the cell doors causing a failround within SECONDS of the round starting. Or even a heavy getting a taunt kill on the warden who's unaware of the fact. Ultimately unless that major issue gets fixed, I don't see this map having a place in our rotation.

honestly would be fine with keeping it IF berke just makes the cell doors solid. such an easy fix to what is a major flaw. Crossroads has the same issue but to a lesser extent.
 
But this map has 25 Sentries! What other map has 25 Sentries?
 
Underjail could be good if the creator fixed some of the issues. Rn it’s ass tho

1. Isn't opening the cells as a Red Scout already deemed an exploit? I.E against the rules? Seems like a non-issue
2. Sniper sightlines are a two way street. Both teams benefit from this equally. Blus not paying attention and getting sniped when ample cover exists is just Jailbreak as a game mode.
3. If a warden gets taunt-killed through cells, its 100% a skill issue. Armory is right there to stand on, well out of the way of where cells are.

I do agree the map is quite large, and many parts of the map are hardly touched. However everything is a fair distance from cells, and anything can be reached within a minute from cells.

Any map with a cell secret.
With cell secrets. They always allow for blus to have time to respond. Breakables take time to break, so it's not something that can be done instantly. The only example of an instantly breaking cell escape breakable I can recall is the box game secret on alkatraz. Which has a long vent that takes time to crawl through. Blus should have time to be able to catch reds escape via a secret. With a red being able to open cells before blus can even leave armory that's not the case. Because it's every cell that gets opened. So every red can run off. And there's like 5 different routes to run off from main cell. with a low number of blus that's almost impossible to work against. It's such a major oversight that has to be taken into consideration. It's not fair for a newer blu to get warden and to get instantly random crit because of something entirely out of their control.

You can shoot through crossroads cells but you can't actually launch balls through. So the only way for a red to prematurely open crossroads cells is by ammo glitching. Issue is only on Underjail.

fair enough. Couldn't get the same results from what I tested, but if that's the case I'd also say crossroads should be removed in tandem since the flaw is so major

If I'm not mistaken, the map was made by Theodore.
I'm not sure Theodore is around anymore to handle such things, as he was in the era of 2013/2014

It was made for a failed attempt to revive the hopjb community. The map was made by berke and I currently act as the map's custodian.

The issue with the cells is due to an outdated config file on the server's end resulting in the cell buttons being pressable when they shouldn't be. If kevin would kindly update the mapconfig.cfg file on the server with the one I sent him this issue would be resolved.

Also crossroads and nightshift both have this problem, the difference being that they are both patched serverside now as well, we should not be removing maps for an issue we can easily fix.
