Something I've been thinking about since our HNS Round Ending Secret suggestion. A problem I've had on some maps with Warday, is that Red team will ignore the LR in favor of just ending the round with a secret. Volcano, Jailfort, and Alkatraz are the big names that come to mind.
Warday is then limited to spots that can somewhat guard these secrets, which in my opinion limits creativity. Furthermore, someone could just do 'Warday in X Location' as their LR, completely preventing Blus from stopping the round from ending.
As we already do this with Freedays, I think it would make sense to extend this to Wardays as well. Just as Blus cannot stop a Freeday from doing secrets, Blus also cannot reasonably stop Reds from doing secrets on Wardays. With the HNS suggestion, many people argued that the two minutes was enough time for people to do the secret for free. Warday's four minutes is twice the capacity, and is an incredibly forgiving window of time to do secrets with all Blus stuck at one static location.

I bounced this idea around for a good while, but at the end of the day, it was just my mind at play! Let me know the community's thoughts and concerns!
 
In my opinion a round ending secret in warday is okay, if you are the last red and have no chance of winning.. ya just escape. But in hns its just lame to do it

And the end of the day the rules should stay 😏
 
Uh, yeah. I don't really like warday that much so my opinion is biased. I'd rather have warday end to a round end secret than have to wait 6 minutes for the blues to find a delaying red or vise versa.
 
warday's already a free for all, and if blus are so worried about it then they should station themselves at the secret or its components.

If you’re like the last red alive doing Warday. Why not. Blu’s can prevent it by having Warday in that area. I think you should leave it as it.
 
I think it is fair to recognize that majority of secrets that do end rounds do not take a long time even complete.

Essentially Blue Team is destined to lose before the round even starts. However creating a solution for this is going to be rather difficult entirely and truthfully I don’t see this suggestion passing.

I had this discussion before and the conclusion was that it doesn't really matter because warday rounds don't matter, since no lr is given.

The best argument I could come up with was that you can't make "doing the map secret" an lr, that's not valid, so you could deny locations maybe that make it impossible for blues to prevent the map secret.

Moderating this would also be hell since more often than not a war day escape is just the entire red team doing it as one
 
Not a big fan of warday to begin with, so already I'm like "please just make this end sooner".

And I agree with Mehgend, why give admins extra work to punish Reds for doing what they do best; rebelling? If they take forever to do the secret anyways, you can hunt them at 6.

Good conversation all around, and I thank all that participated for their feedback.
I think it is safe to say the results are clear, and I am fine with it being closed as is.
