This suggestion is similar to my Underjail VS Sentry a year ago, although with no option to ban it (I don't think it is quite worthy of that) and instead an option to keep the minigame as is. Extreme Obby on interwebz nears being borderline impossible for many people to do, no matter what class they are. It's so hard, you actually get a crown on your class' head if you manage to beat it, for the rest of the map duration. The most common stumbling points are the lava walls that surround a thin walkway and require you to be in the pixel perfect position to traverse it and not hit either wall, and the section where you have to make a really high jump with a jump booster. I've only ever seen it be beaten once, and that was by a Demoman who saved himself at the end with his caber.

Much like VS Sentry on Underjail, it might be better to restrict this to LR only. It would come with the benefit of people knowing in advance so they can choose their class and weapons to how they want.

Also just to note, the new version of Interwebz doesn't do anything to make it easier, in fact it appears to make it harder (it removes the ability for Soldiers and Demomen to use their B.A.S.E. Jumper, and strips everyone who enters, including BLUs, down to melee).

I see no point in this being a rule since extreme obby is meant to be a harder. Vs 25 sentry is lr restricted since it caused a bunch of failrounds but extreme obby is just a obby you can just stop if your the last person alive on red and wait for your lr.

Not really nessecary. Unlike vs 25 sentries you can at least get a winner, it's not just going to massacre every single red in an instant.

Gonna close this one early as it's clear this won't pass. Thanks for voting regardless.

The main counterargument about giving LR halfway through is understandable. The only real way to prevent it from being a guaranteed failround is to prohibit "you must finish to get LR" orders on this minigame, but it would probably just overcomplicate the rules which we don't want.
