Hello everyone,
My first ever suggestion… how did it come to this?
Just kidding, let's get to the bottom of this shall we?
Being pretty active and seeing that cell wars is a lot more request as a LR, while the rules state that cell wars cannot be done as a LR, happens a bit more often recently. Even I struggled at some point if it can be done as a lr.
The counter-proposal mostly will be Meatgrinder anyways, but to give the point of this suggestion.
Looking at the rules itself, it is in my honest opinion not placed properly.
Not only can it be missed completely, it can cause confusion.
My suggestion is adding just one tiny line which state that cell wars can't be done as a LR.
Suggestion:
Cellwars is where the warden will enable friendly fire and ask you to kill your cellmates. You do not have to kill your cellmates unless the Warden specifically tells you to.
Cell wars cannot be played if there were 4 or more Guards alive at the start of the round
If the cell doors open during cell wars it’s implied that Prisoners will stay inside of their cells.
Cell wars cannot be played as a LR.
The admins may decide how it will be added/worded within the rules, but to give the idea of the suggestion.
"But Musis, if you read the rules you can find that back within meatgrinder."
For sure you can find it back in that section, but hear me out:
Why state that it can't be done in the meatgrinder section, while it implies for the cell wars minigame?
If I may, in usability terms it doesn't catch the eye. Persons will only read the sections that implies for that specific minigame. Why place that rule in the meatgrinder section while it implies for cell wars?
You can read the rules indicative and have that clear understanding that it can't be done. But if you want to be quick in action, most will result in reading globally. Even me as one of the new regular missed that, even though I did read the rules indicative.
If the suggestion gets declined or a majority is against it, that's okay.
I'm just making this suggestion to clear up confusion which could occur in the future.
Thanks for reading and if you have feedback/idea's to make this suggesion better, leave a comment.
With kind regards,
Musisphaera
