Issue with Customer Maps (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

want play some new maps, have installed the maps, copied in my map folder, started game, opened console, typed "map (map)" and then ] map pl_orangebomb_2.rar
map load failed: pl_orangebomb_2.rar not found or invalid. Every map the same, i installed it at tf2 maps.net. Did someone know, how can i fix it ?

You're right, customer maps are vital to our society and issues must be resolved at once.

When you opened pl_orangebomb_2.rar there should be a file called pl_orangebomb_2.bsp inside of it. It's the .bsp file you need to upload to your map directory. Then when you want to load it through console you don't have to use the extension, just type map pl_orangebomb (since all maps are .bsp) and it should load.
