I wasn't looking for anything too complex, but something dark and futuristic (even if it was just some fancy text, I'd be okay with that).

Ok, my understanding of the thing is that you don't like what you've been given (IMO that's frankly terrible, this is like the definition of lazyness), and you're requiring our help to design something else.

I'm very bad at this, so my advice here is to clearly state what you want and :
1-Either hire someone for that
2-Wait for a guy who would do it for free
