Appeal:
I am appealing this guard ban as soon as I can because I have zero doubts in my mind that I deserve to be on BLU. I have been Warden countless times and consider myself to be one of the best BLU players. 90% of BLUs don't refer to the Reds as "Reds" or "Prisoners" in their orders as I'm sure the admins will agree; I make constant efforts to ensure my orders are clear and impossible to misunderstand. I am disappointed in myself for even creating a situation that could be mistaken for a trick order, and now I must explain the mistake that was made in judging the report on me. All due respect to the admin that reviewed my report, but I must disagree that I gave a trick order or a kill order. The report was made by NyanBat, a known nitpicker. Nyanbat went straight to the forums after dying in an attempt to follow a unique order that other reds understood completely fine. The clip will be attached to this appeal for admins and community members alike to review the footage. The short version is, the prisoners were instructed to follow Warden without touching grass, a common texture on the map which separated the walking path from the minigame. Upon reaching the closest point to the Warden, prisoners were expected to stop before reaching the grass, or if they were somehow capable of it, to jump over. I am 100% certain that Nyanbat made this report because he was upset that he could not follow the order exactly how he imagined. Unsurprisingly, the clip is cut short like any other nitpicked report. Anyone that was spectating the round live would have seen another red successfully jump over the grass using the same type of weapon as Nyanbat. And, the reds that were incapable of this maneuver stayed put at the closest point to the warden as going any closer would result in touching the grass. The order was "Follow the warden without touching grass". According to the rules, Not touching the grass overrides following the Warden.
I remain optimistic that the admins can come to a decision that better reflects panda.tf as a community that inspires empathy, creativity (unique orders), and trust in the members of the BLU team to come up with new and fun orders with sympathy for BLUs who make small errors in their pursuit of trying to be a good Warden. We're trying to have fun too. The admins should be thinking, why are BLUs scared to come up with new orders, regurgitating old orders like "Go to the yellow line" and "AFK freeze hugging the back cell wall" every round?
I rest my case.
