To make things short, I'm quite biased with what I like, what I think works and doesn't, what should happen and what shouldn't happen despite not even being in charge of something but from generally playing long enough to gage an idea of what should be done, so what do I want done?
I want to address the roster and what I believe should be done, the options you'll see for choice matter regarding the ones I've chosen will come either with a variety or couple of choices.
  • This is NOT to remove every single hale listed here, this is merely to address what I think should be done with them check the polling options

To continue, please provide your own ideas for the hales I think should be touched upon.
  • edit: to add since polling only allows up to 10 questions:
  • Either keep or remove/replace human sentry buster
  • Either keep, rework or remove/replace st. heffe
  • Either keep major crits. jr or replace/replace
  • Either replace the Madden duo with the pre-existing mlg spy hales (repurposing them as the mlg duo basically) or keeping them
  • Either keep or remove/replace raptor spy
  • Either keep handsome rogue the way he is or tweak him

would love to see cbs replaced with cuddly heavy
replace human sentry buster, theres just other exploding hales that do it better
keep st heffe, seems in a good place to me
replace major, what if we replace him with shadow thief?
replace madden
keep raptor spy
not very sure about handsome rogue
 
Some thoughts below, sorry for the wall of text:

  • Christian Brutal Sniper - Could be replaced with Cuddly Heavy with some new abilities, we were discussing this in the FF2 discord
  • Handsome Jack - I think the main problem is his very underwhelming arsenal. The pistol, the smg and sniper rifle are pretty much useless majority of the time, so that only leaves the grenade launcher and air strike which are very good in most situations. Honestly I'd just keep those two weapons and remove the other ones.
  • FemPyro - Literally just a coomer hale, very bland, no unique abilities. Remove please.
  • GentleSpy - The hale isn't playable on VSH like the image says, though I still think the hale is pretty boring but I'm not sure what I could change on him. It's kind of a classic hale so people probably wouldn't be happy with a replacement/removal.
  • Human Sentry Buster - No opinion, I tried to make him a bit more unique by giving him an ability to wall-climb with the caber but if people want him removed then that's fine.
  • St. Heffe - The only suggestion I have is fixing the P2W aspect of the boss, by perhaps making it so players can't move at all during rage, even with taunts obviously.
  • Major Crits - For the pyro problem the only thing I can think of is maybe giving him some airblast resistance.
  • Maddendoktor Duo - Again no opinion, I agree that maybe MLG hales could be made into a duo though.
  • Raptor Spy - I was looking into giving him a blue team model so it's less confusing. Can't say much about the gameplay aspect.

Right. Let’s get through this.

Among the hales currently in the poll, I believe Fempyro is the most deserving of removal.
1. Fempyro
* A hale whose design, gameplay, and overall concept rely entirely on the fact that it is female, with the model essentially being a Pyro with exaggerated ''features''
* A rage that scares enemies & gives the Hale a Detonator, which can essentially one shot light classes.
Overall, an incredibly unimaginative hale that can be summed up as simply boring.

2. Maddendoktor Duo

* This duo has been ridiculed, remains unchanged, and has never been updated to align properly with the rest of the server’s bosses.
I would rather give it a chance with a proper fix applied to them before removing them completely.

3. Major Crits

* Has proven to myself & probably others that fixing him is a task that would take too long. Turning him into a 'Trolldier' is ridiculous as previously suggested.
* Should in my personal opinion be simply removed & replaced.
* Mobility Based Hales are a slog to fight through and aren't fun. Mechanically or otherwise.



As for some of the other hales on this list, I wish to clarify one thing:
Some of these hales are more creative than others, and some hold what I consider the status of a 'classic' hale.
The hale I would not want removed, based on its 'classic' status, is:

Gentlespy: An overall classic character that is fun to play and mechanically straightforward.


The other hales mentioned here such as:
Handsome Jack
Raptor Spy
Handsome Rogue
St. Heffe
Human Sentry Buster


All require simple adjustments to their rage, HP, or abilities, and they should be fine imo.

I Agree 100% with this list, if we are to add new bosses then we remove few old and unused ones with that said that does NOT mean 1:1 ratio,
Having a lot of new bosses can be refreshing but it should be Carefully looked into than just adding.


St heffe needs a tweak and he will be fine ,
he is meant to be sort of a challenge because u spend 5% rage on jump and the idea is u going to have to farm kills without wasting rage so your smites will get you kills when u reach 100% rage and yes
its the only boss that uses taunts to kill which makes him kind of fun to use, unless the red team has conga which most do nowadays,
If you guys want to change how he works then iam fine with that.
