I am writing this suggestion because I have recently often had this situation on certain maps,which I am going to show you down below.

I find it kind off annoying/bad that people can be just easily killed per ranged weapon because off bad map design and/or weird spots.
Dying as activator or runner just because a few soldiers are shooting at the wall where the activation button is located

I think a better suggestion would be to remove primary and secondary weapons on certain maps. For example, on Neonoir you can break the whole map if you use either primary or secondary weapon on a certain spot, which has been quite an annoying problem to deal with. Since people who know how to break the map can do it intentionally at any moment or people who have no idea can accidentally do it as well.

I like this idea, if the community could help me create a list of maps with issues, I could disable firing specifically for those maps!

I think another solution could be to remove splash damage from explosive weapons. This would break arena minigames though..
 
Or do it like skial.... make the blu team saxton hale OR no guns on blue team only

ive only made a general opinion on this without going into the details of which map and etc

I think this is the more precise way to say what this issue is
 
How about we just do it for only for maps that suffer with these weapons


Doing it for the whole server will Make Hell Lands Story Mode actually impossible to beat.
 
Honestly i think people can just use stripper configs or make an edit of the maps broken by weapons so the server doesn't have to disable weapons on those maps.

This is an idea tho. Stripper configs are harder to use so your better off making an separate edit for the server
 
Some changes are coming which may give me easier access to deploy stripper configs/maps in the future. That way, with help of bug reports, I could make a significant dent into the problems with weapons :)

So does this mean that your making stripper configs to fix these maps so players can still use weapons but cannot exploit with them? Or blacklisting weapons on certain maps that suffer with them
 
Hale or Activator or Blue doesn't really deserve a weapon. Something like this can be fixed if you can do it in red side.
