This thread serves as a notice to the deathrun community about a decent number of maps are being proposed to be removed from the map pool

I cannot make a poll due to the large amount listed here.
I have gone through with the deathrun staff team about this. Of course, they may still remove any maps from the list if they wish so, they will just have to post here instead now.
Same for the community. Anything here listed that is wished to be kept, feel free to post.
Do keep in mind though we can't save all of them. There are currently 128 maps on panda deathrun. We need to aim for at least 80 - 90 range and that is still high compared to our other servers.

I'll leave this up for 7 days.
 
While I don't really play deathrun anymore I think this list is a bit much and I would still like to keep some of these maps, like nostalgia_roblox, winterbase, winterhill, dlux_nightfall, technoir, waterworks, stardust, paradoxal and time_travel.

i do agree that deahtrun has way too many maps and half never played. its always lazy town

some valid choices there but the community just never plays them
 
maps older than like 6 years i wouldnt think to keep cause they dont hold up rly well with the current playerbase and how the maps work also most of these maps were chosen because they werent played for over 1mo or longer so we want to lower the total count so we maybe can have more rotation

A little update here

dr_nostalgia_roblox_v1c was the only one on the list that was failing to appear in the map list on the server. Looking through the files I've found the issue and will be giving it another chance.

And thanks to those that have given feedback so far. Deathrun's community isn't exactly present on the forums, so this somewhat helps.

Max I'm willing to 'save' is 10. Do note you can always resuggest the ones removed to add again about 6 months from now, just before summer next year.

But yes all listed here are low play / pick rates. Most are very old maps with exploits / glitches / bugs.

I'll be sorting this out on wednesday along with deathrun getting updates / maps added.

Maps like dr_steamworks and dr_technoir still get played sometimes, at least from what I saw. I would suggest to not remove these two.
 
I personally think we should keep dr_technoir_v6_imposssible if anything, but apart from that I wouldn't mind the rest being removed.
