Why should you receive a unban for the ban / gag / mute / teamban:
According to the admin, I was banned for making the following "racist" statements:
- Brazil had 10x as many slaves as the US
- Arabs enslaved 10x as many slaves as Europeans
- British spent billions to attack Arab slave ships
None of these statements are racist, and all of these statements are facts (or exaggerations of facts) that conform to the consensus held by all professional historians.
Brazil had 10x as much slaves as the US
This is the consensus of historians who study the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Here's a project run by Emory university, which is among the top 100 universities in the world: https://slavevoyages.org/voyage/maps . The very first image was the source of my statement.
Arabs enslaved 10x as much slaves as Europeans
Some historians have estimated that many tens of millions of African slaves were enslaved by the Islamic world, however the consensus is that the Arab slave trade was slightly greater than or equal to the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Wikipedia has an introductory article on this topic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_slavery_in_the_Muslim_world . I used a different source that is not widely accepted to exaggerate, but my point was that pointing out the trans-Atlantic slave trade while ignoring other cases of slavery is a very Western-centric view to take, and that evils must be pointed out wherever they happen. Slavery is not a Western evil, it is a human evil. This statement is not racist, it is a historical fact.

British spent billions to attack Arab slave ships
While I haven't quantified the exact amount the British did spend (I was just guessing), it is a well known fact that global slavery declined in part due to British pressure. The Brits enforced a blockade on all slave shipments in international waters, and this often meant putting British lives and ships at stake to search and arrest ships transferring slaves. Sending ships to patrol international waters isn't cheap, so Britain spent a huge sum of money on it, and that is without even mentioning how much Britain paid to have all slaves set free (they were still paying back the debt in the 21st century). There are articles and books that go much more in depth into this topic that I forgot about, but here are some articles that give a rough overview:

Getting gagged for replying with facts to another player who routinely makes the chat political is a travesty and inversion of justice. The things I said in my screenshot can only be interpreted as racist if you hold a deeply flawed and contradictory worldview, and the idea that non-Western groups of people are above criticism (due to a Western-centric worldview) is absolutely abhorrent to me. Evil must be criticized wherever it is (such as modern slavery in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe) and wherever it has happened historically (such as the trans-Atlantic slave trade or the trans-Saharan slave trade). Getting gagged for "racism" for calling out evil and immorality is a disgrace. If you believe my chat was toxic, then gag me for toxicity, not racism. I have and will always continue to be guided by proper morality when replying to political statements made by others in the chat.
The only "racism" I posted was obviously over-the-top satire mocking certain more racist segments of the population. If you look at my chat history (https://hlstats.panda-community.com/hlstats.php?mode=chathistory&player=423198&page=1), it is obvious I was roleplaying as an angry Fox News-watching Joe Biden-hating person. Another racist thing I wrote was:
