Why should you receive a unban for the ban / gag / mute / teamban: I haven't really done any sort of duplicating/ malicious behavior on my end. This is generally the first time I've tried to join in the server. I dont know if its me having the same IP as someone else who was banned or not.

Because you've connected via a university public IP you will end up sharing an IP with others who get banned for other reasons you'll end up getting caught up in the reason 'duplicate account'.
I've cleared up the IP and your account ban. I would avoid connecting to that IP to play on panda community again unless you have no choice. This may happen again, which you'll have to appeal again or contact me privately.
