Hai lads, guess I can give this a shot


Name: alperrt online, Allu or Aleksi IRL

Age: 20 (1995)

Permission to apply: Listed as available positions.

Online time and time zone: GMT +2 (Finland). Online pretty randomly, most consistent online times between 15:00-23:00.

Microphone: I have a mic but it and TF2 have some great issues working together, trying to figure it out.

Previous experience: Used to be an admin on ICE-Clan's RPG surf in CS:S like 7ish years ago.

What servers do I play on: If there are enough players to make a game, WC3 definately. If not, I usually hang around in Dodgeball and Trade. Will visit any server necessary in case of a report.

Experience with SourceMod: Yes I have knowledge of the basic commands, assuming the plugin hasn't changed alot during the years.

Why me?: I'm pretty active both gaming- and socialwise, I've gotten quite keen on the whole community and want to give it all good I possibly can. I know the responsibility that comes with the power and I'm capable of filling my duties.

What would I do as an admin?: Right treatment to the right violation, such as muting microphone spammers, gagging the chat abusers/spammers/insulters. Slay a stealer (db) and later kick/ban if the lesson isn't learned. Hackers don't deserve no mercy nor will they get any, all proven/obvious hacking is worthy of a permanent ban.

But giving a solid punishment should never be the first option (excluding hacking), the violator should be let known that he/she shouldn't be doing whatever he/she is doing wrong, via chat or mic, and to be given the chance to stop it without any further consequences. Every problem solved with only speaking is +.

Ah i remember this fresh one.
You can't piss on their legs, so you gotta do what you gotta do to show dominance,I won the duel 32 to 2, that's the tryhard gaming me.
This "boy" was actually talking shit so I got a bit aggrovated, usually I just settle for the basic kek after every kill

you will be annoyed alot as an admin and you will have to keep calm, having an admin tag doesn't make you immuned to players being rude or even insulting you. you will have to deal with them in a proper way, and what we just saw is not thee proper way.

A fun fact, I'm actually the definition of calm, but I understand your point and concern, but you also forget the fact that all you see is the text I'm typing, not the mindset behind it. Not the first time my kind of fun and humor is mixed with pure toxicness.

i do indeed understand that what i saw was only typing, back when i was an admin i also had to deal with rude players and rulebreakers refusing to respect the rules and showing themselves violent. but you must keep all this anger in your mindset, everyone rages and gets mad while talking with someone that is annoying or simply stupid, but you never have to show it, even more as the embodyment of order and rules on the server. you were talking about showing dominance not humour, and i am also basing myself only on what i am seeing on this thread, didn't check your chatlog.
this being said i still wish you the best of luck for your app ^^

Räb Cäb just arrived for a few weeks ago from the army. Look at all his playtime, and you know your statement can't be true. I know him well to understand that he will help us enough at war3. Replying for close friends is allowed...

I would give you a -1. But i don't know you ingame, i only see your seasons and your chatlog. And what i see is not good.

I mean would you personally keep playing when there are under 5 players in the server, of which 3 are your friends and all it would be is talking? People visit wc3 alot for the fact that the map is cp_orange, but when they get snared or blewn on etc wc3 stuff, they get startled and call it hax and leave lol. From the community's playerbase there are all the same faces online everytime, with leveled races etc, new people don't understand how the mod works and just rq. And you cannot really get a full teamed game from our own lads.. kinda unfortunate but that's basically what causes those low sessions.

Hm well at first impressions I didn't like your attitude. Looking at the couple of days that have gone past and looked at your logs again I slightly have a feel for the type of person you are.

And...I still don't like your attitude. Maybe I'm judging it wrong, but your chat log makes me feel like you could turn into one of those people that panda takes on and ends up with setting a bad example. I try to look at it as you're representing panda and I don't feel you set a good one. Takes ages to kick a bad attitude admin as it needs to get progressively worse before it's taken seriously.

Though I admire your...efforts. I see you visit other servers and do comment on the shoutbox...Though most of the time the things you mention seem to be a one sided show. Though I am not sure if you're doing it for brownie points, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

I want to get to know you better as you mention that there is more behind to what you say. In the sense of...It's not what you think. Problem is you've only just set yourself here where the other admins don't know you so it's difficult to get votes in. Is there even a WS3 admin anymore?

I must say though, that what is mentioned here by people who are giving important information have every right to state there opinions and show what they've found. This is generally to everyone, but please be respectful of their comments as I feel that their feed back is as equal value to voting.
